Immigration Employees Union Pleads For Democrat Defeat to Stop Obama Amnesty by Rick Wells Kenneth Palinkas, president of the National Citizenship and Immigration Services Council pleaded with the citizens of the United States to defeat the socialist insanity of the Obama regime at the voting booth and send a message that we will not tolerate the lawless unilateral granting of amnesty to illegal aliens. He revealed that his members are being forced, through a system based upon meeting quotas rather than applying the proper scrutiny, to rubber-stamp applications. It is a practice which he says is surely allowing potential terrorists, criminals and diseased persons to enter and remain in the United States. He added that as bad as the problem already is, it will get exponentially worse and much more dangerous if the American people allow Obama to run over them dictatorially in violation of the Constitution. Palinkas has done his best to inform the public that the system in its current configuration simply overwhelms the processors, with the emphasis on the quantity of approvals rather than the quality of the reviews and thorough, proper vetting. His members want desperately to do what is in the best interest of their country but those who set policy and procedures, DHS Secretary Johnson and his minions, are working against them and against America’s national security. He said the political Obama regime is actively blocking USCIS's "loyal and dedicated adjudicators and personnel" who "diligently man the front lines in the battle to protect Americans from terrorism and the abuse of our economic and political resources" in their efforts to properly perform their jobs. He expressed similar concerns in a written statement in May of 2013. "As the individuals who screen the millions of applications for entry into the U.S., it is our job to ensure that terrorists, diseases, criminals, public charges, and other undesirable groups are kept out of the United States. Unfortunately, we have been blocked in our efforts to accomplish this mission and denied the professional resources, mission support, and authorities we urgently need by the very same government that employs our skill sets." Palinkas said immigration "caseworkers still operate under a quota system that prioritizes speed over quality and approvals over investigations." Pressure is applied from DHS Director Jeh Johnson to push more paper, “without regard to national security." He also revealed preparations being made for the amnesty which involve "plans to waive interviews of applicants who seek adjustment of their status in the U.S. to ready our workforce for the coming onslaught of applications unforeseen in previous administrations." "We are still the world’s rubber-stamp for entry into the United States – regardless of the ramifications of the constant violations to the Immigration and Nationality Act," Palinkas said. "Whether it’s the failure to uphold the public charge laws, the abuse of our asylum procedures, the admission of Islamist radicals, or visas for health risks, the taxpayers are being fleeced and public safety is being endangered on a daily basis." Palinkas said "America dodged a bullet" when the House refused to pass the Senate's amnesty bill noted that the efforts of Senators Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) to prevent the amnesty failed, the ball is now in the hands of the American voters. He said, "If you care about your immigration security and your neighborhood security, you must act now to ensure that Congress stops this unilateral amnesty." Palinkas implored the citizens of the United States, "Let your voice be heard and spread the word to your neighbors. We who serve in our nation’s immigration agencies are pleading for your help – don’t let this happen.
