    Now what?

President Obama and congressional Democrats just spent 14 months passing an unpopular bill and spending the nation down the rabbit hole into epic debt. It’s not exactly Sun Tzu on strategy. Or as our earthy vice president might say, it could be a big _______ mistake.

The combination of justifiable anger, tea parties and predictions of Democratic disaster in November all point one direction – down. That leaves Obama only one logical option.

    Buying votes.

No, he won’t do it with classic Democratic machine-style corruption ala Tammany Hall or Chicago Mayor Daley. Instead, he’s going to use your tax dollars to give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants and turn them into lifetime Democrats.

I predict this will come up for a vote in November or December - after Dems have been voted out of office but before their terms end. They will have nothing to lose and will continue to igonore the will of the American people. All this to get jobs in the Obama administration after they leave office.

The article sums it up, more illegals--excuse me, 'undocumented workers'--means more votes. So the higher illegal immigration is, the more politicians will cater to them.

They can not get this through the Senate if the Republicans stand together, if amnesty passes you can blame them for not reeling in Grahram the traitor or any other Republican that turns against us.

Michael Steel had better stop beating around the bush when it come to Republicans stand on illegal Immigration.

You are probably right on but they can not push amnesty through on reconcilliation so the only way this can pass the Senate is if the Repubilcans sell us out, they have 41 votes. My worry is they have some fantasy about picking up the Hispanic vote when in actuality they should be worried about the Indepenant vote.

But independents can't vote in the primary's at least not in my State which is another way of these politicians keeping more of the voting public out ....we need to fight to have independents vote in all elections to begin with..there are more independents than the other 2 major party's put together....
