Just weeks away from a possible surprise victory in the primaries, Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz has been waging a ferocious behind the scenes battle with the NEW YORK TIMES, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, and has hired DC power lawyer Bob Bennett to mount a bold defense against charges of giving special treatment to a lobbyist!

McCain has personally pleaded with NY TIMES editor Bill Keller not to publish the high-impact report involving key telecom legislation before the Senate Commerce Committee, newsroom insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

The paper's Jim Rutenberg has been leading the investigation and is described as beyond frustrated with McCain's aggressive and angry efforts to stop any and all publication.

The drama involves a woman lobbyist who may have helped to write key telecom legislation.

The woman in question has retained counsel and strongly denies receiving any special treatment from McCain.

Rutenberg, along with reporter David Kirkpatrick, has been developing the story for the last 6 weeks.

Rutenberg had hoped to break the story before the Christmas holiday, sources reveal, but editor Keller expressed serious reservations about journalism ethics and issuing a damaging story so close to an election.

McCain campaign officials Rick Davis, Charlie Black and Mark Salter are also said to have met with the NEW YORK TIMES in an effort to halt publication.

When anyone runs for the top job in this Country, there should be ALL good or bad truths about them known to the public.
I feel it is our right ...!!!
McCain was a good serviceman, but I personally shocked when he himself says no waterboarding....hell man, its to protect our country.
And his PRO Illegals stance is all wet.....

Now, if there is anything else to be known, then it should be released , so long as it is known to be the truth....NO slamming one that is preferred by any media source...!!

McCain is NOT a good prospect for the 78% of us who are a majority and want the illegals OUT of this country and stop this madness that it is costing us the taxpayer.

Yes. The illegals come here to this country to work, and they accept ANY job for almost half of what the American worker receives, and therefore the Govt. says that they are then below the poverty level, and we have to make up the difference so they enjoy a good life, while thousands of Americans are out of work and some loosing their homes.

Being a nice caring Christian person is a great quality to have, but NOT at the expense of your own people...!!!!

We elect these persons to represent US, WE, the people and the DEMOCRATIC Congress has turned their backs on us and now it is time to "FIRE" them to show them who's the true Boss.

They have been selling their votes to Big business Lobbyists against the will of the people, and have tried 2 times to shove AMNESTY down our throats....didnt work, and they havent learned.....
BUT, they may have a reason to try stopping this now, because of the Hispanics plan to " have taken back their land, and they will not even fire one shot". TRUE.

We have been far to busy listening to our ANTI-Immigration Groups, who themselves have forgotten that the theory here is to allow the ANCHOR-BABIES, many who will turn 18 this coming year, and then will be able to bring entire families to this countries, as many as 12-15 each one baby, thus entering this country (LEGALLY ) near 15-20 million more Hispanics.....
Then I fear it will be to late to do anything, and they will have won....meaning the CONGRESS who want them here , thus forever ending the Republican party, and keeping Big Business making TRILLIONS , while we, the taxpayer keep paying more money to support the below poverty level invaders.

America is in debt to the tune of 9 TRILLION dollars and we are borrowing from China, (of all places) and since we pay $ 1.3 Trillion a year for all of the Gov. programs given to ILLEGALS, this would be a great place to start , before America is Bankrupt.

Many should start SCREAMING about these ANCHOR-BaBIES, because this is where AMNESTY will be shoved down our throats ,only in a much serious way....Wise up people, before it really is to late, and we are taken over , like what is happening, a real kick by the ones in the DEMO cotrolled CONGRESS.
Fire all incumbent DEMOS and lets give Congress back to the Repubs, they already have learned the PEOPLE have power of the VOTE....

We only need to "FIRE about 12-15 SENATORS from the SENATE, like T. Kennedy, John MURTHA, Harry REID, Nanny Pelosi, Dick Durbin. KYL, MCCain, HilliiaryClinton, read from the www.congressionalgrades.com to see who keeps supporting the illegals, then you will know.....
