Thread: Is it time for a MEMORIAL WALL for Alien murder Victims?

Im thinking we need to do a memorial WALL with the names of those killed and raped and murdered by known illegal immigrants, Gilcrest says 28,000 and I dont doubt those numbers. What say you? Where, and out of what, granite, like the Vietnam memorial?

I think that is a wonderful idea. It would sure bring attention to the huge problem and the danger our citizens face everyday.

The memorial should just be for those killed by name and dedicated to the injured and raped without their names.

This isn't a bad idea. The memorial wall should be at the White House on the side walk. I don't know how these families cope with this.

I agree with W. you cannot put up names of rape victims. I think this is a wonderful Idea. It would bring some recognition to the families who have lost loved ones and be a little balm to their wounds to know that some of us care about the losses they have suffered. Maybe some of our really creative ones here could offer a few ideas for this memorial, some of the finacial wizards might could give some estimates of the cost, and the rest of us could try to figure out ways of raising the money for this project. I can't think of a more worthy cause for the people of ALIPAC to be involved in, aside from the great cause we are allready involved in here!

And you can blame every bit of this on President Bush for not upholding our existing immigration laws. One stroke of his pen and this could all be over with yesterday.

I completely agree that it is an absolutely wonderful idea!!!

If I may throw out a few ideas:

1. Where would we put this memorial up? Let's tackle that first.

2. How big would it be?

3. Does anyone have any idea of what sort of granite/marble to use?

4. Ideas on how to raise money for it? Donations, our own pockets, what?

5. Maybe we could get an artist or someone like that to create a "monument" of some kind.

I'd be more than happy to start shopping around for prices once we get the first three basics nailed.
