    ACTION ALERT: CALL OLYMPIA SNOWE NOW!

    All Eyes are on Olympia Snowe - Need Phone Calls NOW!!!

    As the Senate Finance Committee moves closer to a final vote on the President's health care takeover, it will come down to Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME).

    Senators Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) have pledged to oppose any bill without an explicit public option.

    If they hold to their pledge, Democrats will need one Republican to move the proposal out of committee.

    Olympia Snowe has said she won't provide that critical vote unless the plan includes a "trigger" for a public option and unless it has been scored by CBO.

    Democrats might agree to the phony trigger but they're not likely to wait two weeks for the plan to be scored.

    Conservatives need to contact Sen. Snowe NOW and urge her to vote against the plan. Her number is (202) 224-5344.
