Is your support and defense of Sen. Luther Strange based solely on Trump's support of him? If not, what is it exactly that you like about him?

Honestly, I'm convinced Trump is only supporting Luther Strange because McConnell asked him to.

I don't know Luther Strange and don't support him over anyone else in this race. I liked Mo Brooks. I thought and hoped Mo would win the seat in Alabama. I just haven't been able to find any statement or quote from him other than the one I posted from August 2 about the RAISE ACT and at that time he wanted to work on it but hadn't read it yet, because it had just been introduced that day or the day before. My issue is why and based on what is Breitbart saying he opposes it.

Saying you want to work on something doesn't necessarily mean you support it. The information from Breitbart came a out over a month after the article you found. Even then you said Strange hadn't read the RAISE Act bill yet. Could it be he finally read it and then decided not to support it? I find that very easy to believe, especially after hearing about his 16% stake in a company that recruits EB-5 immigrant investors.

Yeah, my article had a date for his statements. Your article is later but doesn't have any quotes of his statements. Doesn't matter to me, the people of Alabama will decide who they want and I trust their judgment.

But the statements never said anything about him actually supporting the RAISE Act.
