Dana Perino (Fox News) Lambasts Donald Trump on Immigration Plan

Donald Trump's immigration plan was the first topic of discussion today on the Fox News show, "The Five". As the discussion went around the table, Dana Perino, former President George W. Bush's spokesperson, began to raise her voice to a near screaming level and used the word "asinine" to describe portions of Mr. Trump's plan.

Dana Perino talked about the Dream Act and said that approval was around 70 percent. She laughed about the wall and bringing back jobs from China, too. She spoke out against attempts to end birthright citizenship, saying that it would not happen.

Ms. Perino mentioned an article written on the website, the federalist.com. It evidently mocks the immigration plan and/or ideas put forth by Donald Trump, Senator Sessions and supported by the majority of Americans. I did not catch the exact title of the article, but I did glance at a few recent articles on immigration on this site and they are negative and critical, of course.

Geraldo is a contributor today on the show and he repeated his usual talking points, though he did not outright reject every point in the immigration plan of Donald Trump. He mentioned the deportation of Elian Gonzalez to illustrate his point of the problems associated with trying to deport individuals.

I guess Fox is about to lose a lot of watchers with that nonsense talk. With the Dragon Lady & her 2 fellow assassins at the 1st debate, & now this, it is clear what Fox is about and it is NOT about putting this country RIGHT. Best to scream on them @ not watching anymore but you have to email a particular show rather than the head of Fox as I could not find an address to do that..

June 17, 2015 - Wow. Talk about boiling hot. Dana Perino actually accuses co-host Eric Bolling of covering for Donald Trump just to get a spot on his show, Celebrity Apprentice. She made this accusation based on a couple of tweets between the Donald and Bolling last night. Bolling didn’t take kind to that at all, vigorously defending himself.I really think Perino is losing it over Trump. I mean, to accuse a co-host on-air of unethical behavior based on a couple of tweets is not professional at all…and a little nutty. Either her hatred of Trump is so white-hot that she will run over anyone defending him or there is something more going on between her and Bolling because this should have never happened.

I'm personally sick of Fox attacking Trump at every turn. They are often at times a nonsense *news* station while more honest politically then the other major media outlets they are really whacked on some things. They keep saying how Megyn Kelly was good but few viewers seem to think so even out of those who dislike Trump. I'm personally tired of them saying he has no chance because he isn't a career politician part of the establishment and is against a few of their views.

Dana Perino is not alone in receiving criticism today from the American people on the issue of illegal immigration.

Top 10 Ways To Fund Walls and Fences on America's Southern Border

1. We could stop giving Mexico over 200 million in foreign aid per year and use those funds on walls and fences to keep illegal aliens out.

2. According to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) our Border Patrol seizes about 32.5 million dollars in drug money leaving the US each year and this is estimated to be less than 1% of the money going over the border. We could use seized drug monies to fund the wall.

3. By 2006 the Bush administration had stopped fining all businesses that hire illegals. We could generate millions of dollars in funds for the families of Americans killed by illegal aliens and the border wall by fining businesses that hire illegals as current US laws say we should!

4. We should tell the 12-20 million illegal immigrants in America they are to begin leaving immediately and any that we have to detain and deport will have any and all assets seized to compensate the American taxpayers for the cost of their arrest, deportation, and any social services they drained while in the US. Tell illegal aliens you will seize their belongings, assets, cash, and bank accounts and watch them run for the border on their own!

5. Use federal databases to determine who is illegal in America and immediately seize any taxes and withholding from their paychecks and designate those funds to go to the family members of illegal alien victims, and the border wall. Stop all Earned Income Credit IRS refunds going to illegal aliens to save millions!

6. Studies indicate that over half of all illegal immigrants in America are already receiving some form of welfare and that this consumption rate will more than triple if they are ever given citizenship or legal status. An Executive Order should be signed by our President ordering a halt to all welfare, housing, food, tuition, and non emergency healthcare assistance to illegal alien foreign nationals. Illegal aliens are draining billions of dollars in taxpayer resources that could easily be cut off and conserved for Americans and the wall.

7. All visa fees should be increased but we should apply the greatest visa fee price increases to countries like Mexico, China, and Brazil that contribute the largest amounts of people to our illegal immigrant populations. If your home nation is responsible for a significant portion of America's illegal immigration problem then your citizens pay higher visa fees to help America build walls, fences, and deport your citizens back home.

8. Tariffs should be applied to products coming in from our largest illegal alien contributor nations like China and Mexico and the monies raised from these tariffs should be given to immigration and border law enforcement agencies, the border wall project, and the victims of illegal immigrant crimes.

9. Apply a 5% tax on all remittances to Mexico and other nations each year applied to wire transfers made by banks. It is estimated that Mexican remittances are 20 Billion dollars per year alone. At 5% this will generate 100 million dollars per year for wall construction funds.

10. Illegal immigrants caught committing further crimes in America or caught reentering America after deportation should be assigned to work camps set up and supervised by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. These prisoners should be made to wear pink underwear and work hard labor constructing the walls and fences to keep other illegal immigrants like themselves out. When word spreads around the world that illegally immigrating to the US will land you in a prison work camp run by Joe Arpaio, illegal crossings will plummet and we will save millions of dollars in wall construction costs.
