Newspaper Ads
We need to put ads in newspapers across the country telling Americans what is really happening with this immigration. U.S Border Watch is working on this project also. Yet everyone needs to do it also. The problem is it's expensive to buy a half page ad.

That's a great idea, if it's done by a group. Buying ad space, is, as you noted, expensive. But another thing to consider is that individuals can end up sending the wrong message to the public. We all have our own biases here. One individual whose message comes across as truly racist can cancel out the ads of those of us who ask for sensible solutions to this crisis. Having a group decide on a message sounds a lot safer than combing through every word you write to make sure you truly don't offend or turn off your fellow Americans.

I suggested that yesterday, saying we should band together across the country and buy space in the largest circulation paper in each state...all on the same day....but no one replied so I assumed it was not well received as a "get out the idea" idea.

Ok, this is just a suggestion but tight-fisted protesting in drips and drabs won't even register on the radar. Organizing a "don't buy" protest is overwhelming. So how about this: One person from every state here on this board pays to take out an ad in whatever the largest circulation paper is in their state (full page would be too expensive but must be at least a quarter or no one will see it), and/or whatever the local flier is....with a list of companies in the area to NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM.....and here is the crucial part, the ads must run on the same day so there is more chance for the blip in revenues to be noticed.
