Thread: Morristown, TN..NO NOT LET THIS ONE DIE DOWN!

I have posted this along with my wonderful friend's comments that sent it to me. She is absolutely right! This is a total disgrace! I watched the show and I was really ticked off at the way the "stand in" treated this veteran! The guy was totally arrogant!

This fiasco in Morristown is just the tip of a HUGE iceberg in America. If we don't stand up and step forward to stop this it will be in EVERY small town across our land.

I understand that Gov. Bredesen was in Morristown the same day on a *campaign trip* - What did he know (and we can rest assured that he DID know about it) and why did he allow the THP to be involved - give him a call and start asking hard questions - do not let Bredesen off the hook on this.
Bredesen (615-741-2001) He is the one who needs to be called; it was his Dept. of Safety (troopers) who did the dirty work.

Push every button you can to make this BIG NEWS and to expose this double standard of allowing ILLEGALS and their ilk to do as they please (plant their flag in America soil) while arresting disabled Vets carrying an America Flag or other LEGAL Americans for things like not wearing a seat belt or some other unconstitutional rule.

In light of the ignoring of what prompted the heavy law-enforcement presence in Morristown over the weekend by the Hannity & Colmes show, we are asking everyone to send an email to Mr. Lou Dobbs at CNN requesting him to pick up the REAL story: the attempt by local government in Hamblen County, Tennessee to effectively shut-down a peaceful rally organized by American Citizens because it was opposing illegal immigration instead of supporting it. In fact, on May 1 of this year, illegals and their supports were allowed to block streets AND carry flag poles in Morristown with practically NO police presence - even from the LOCAL law enforcement and yet, when American Citizens want to rally to show their support for securing our Nation's borders, "Law" enforcement refuse to allow Old Glory to be flown from an aluminum flag-pole calling it a 'potential weapon'. Those rally goers who braved the SWAT teams were searched for anything and everything that might convievably considered a weapon and forced to either surrender those items or return them to their cars before being allowed inside the barricades to listen to the speakers!!

This is an egregious example of a double-standard - one that elevates law-breakers over law-abiding U.S. Citizens and IT MUST STOP NOW!!

In addition to contacting the Lou Dobbs show, we'd also like to ask that you continue to flood elected officials in Morristown, Hamblen County and the State of Tennessee (contact information for all in our "Morristown Updates" section) with phone calls and emails telling them that we, as LEGAL U. S. residents will no longer accept such treatment!

Is he a Democrat ? I went to his website, but didn't see which party. I'm curious for a few reasons especially in light of this heavy handed law enforcement for legal American citizens with a peaceful protest permit.
We need to find out the exactly what happened.

This one needs to EXPLODE IN THE MEDIA!

It's a perfect example of a horrendous double standard in which Americans are on the short end of the stick and it's a perfect storm.
