It wouldn't surprise me one bit to hear some politicians say American families HAVE to take in a few Mexicans to raise in their own homes!

These people take our money and throw at every stupid cause out there, except to help America stay great!
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

I pity you, I truly do. Well, I'm not much better off with Rep. David Price (D-NC). Actually, I'm not better off!

I'm surprised Shiela Lee Jacksons's names not on the list as a co-sponsor.

I always laugh when she talks about representing her constituents. I cannot even send her an email!

I sent Rep. Capps CA-D a note saying that if she supports funding for La Raza she would be supporting a racist organization.

She is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Wrote months ago to my representative and just rec'd a reply yesterday.

    June 20, 2007

    Dear....

Thank you for contacting me regarding your opposition to H.R. 1999 (Hinojosa-TX), the Hope Fund Act of 2007.

This bill would authorize appropriations for assistance for the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and the Raza Development Fund. Grants would be made available to the National Council of La Raza to provide technical and financial assistance to local non-profit organizations to undertake community development and affordable housing projects and programs serving low and moderate-income households. NCLR is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States.

As you know, H.R. 1999 would allot $5 million for FY2008, and $10 million each year thereafter. Like you, I feel that it would be unfair to designate funds to organizations that focus their support on people who have come to our country illegally. Currently, H.R. 1999 awaits consideration by the House Committee on Financial Services.

Thank you again for contacting me about this very important issue. Please be assured that I will be working closely with my colleagues as we continue to discuss this important matter. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

    Sincerely,
    Duncan Hunter
