According to KBTX in Bryan, TX, the old Army National Guard building that has been empty for some years is being considered to house ‘undocumented’ children. This area of Texas is also home to Texas A&M University. The city was in negotiations with the federal government to obtain the building with plans to turn it into a senior recreation center, but now that has been put on hold. Health and Human Services (HHS) is now saying they want to house some of the illegal immigrant children there.
Jason Bienski, the Mayor of Bryan, says the city shouldn’t be burdened with the cost. They have contacted Governor Perry to try and put a halt to the project. Not only would it be a financial burden on the city, it would also be a medical problem. Some of these children are coming across the border with third world diseases. With the building located in the center of this college town, HHS’s decision to house them there could be a catastrophe of epidemic proportions.
Bienski and the school district have enlisted the help of Governor Rick Perry, who has testified before Congress about the failure to secure the border.
We really have no clue what is actually coming across our borders. Agents have been slapped with gag orders to keep quiet, as has medical staff. Most agents have kept quiet up until recently. Hector Garcia, a Border Patrol Agent, has come forward to speak to news outlets. He has defied the gag order and more than likely will lose his job over it.

WHOA! NOW!HOLD THE PRESSES; Hold your horses, too. I live about 2 hours from Bryan, so this is not too close to me. A word on behalf of American seniors is apt here. Most American seniors have sacrificed most of their lives and much of their fortune for their own children and grandchildren. So, now the federal government is going to house children from other nations, that have no relationship to those seniors, but a building intended to be a senior activity building will be used for housing alien's children

Shall we look at this, instead of a center for seniors, now those seniors that might have enjoyed this building, will have to defend their home and property from ones who have already broken American law. At the very least they make a sacrifice for unlawful kids that should not even be in the U.S,, or Texas. I am elderly somewhat myself according to many of my friends, but if I lived in Bryan unloading buses there would be a chore to do without distractions many..

I hope the children and grandchildren of these American seniors now step up to make it plain that those who raised their children responsibly should not have to sacrifice more for those that will not raise their children responsibly and according to law! That is a slap to the face of elderly people, that is embarrassing to all Americans and should not be allowed!

What will they ask for next, the elderly's burial plots? That is about all that is left for them to sacrifice/
