Thread: Reid And Pelosi Fighting Over Stimulus Bill

Just now on Fox News, I heard there is some fighting between Pelosi and Reid over the Stimulus bill. Apparently Pelosi wants something put back in the bill that Reid allowed to be eliminated. The House was going to vote on this bill today, but now it's delayed. Let's hope whatever was eliminated, was something the 3 Republicans Senators had taken out. I'll keep an eye on this story and report here at this thread. Would it be too much to hope for that this bill will sink?

From what I understand now, something about school funding was taken out, that's why Pelosi was mad. The reporter said that the new version of it isn't even posted yet, so hard telling what's in it.

Everyone needs to call and tell them to vote NO on this joke of a bill. With the sly tactics used in Conference, there is no telling what the Americans are getting roped into. We already know that there is no protection for the American worker.

If they put the school funding back, the bill will go over 800 B. 2 of the Republican turncoats made an arrangement that they would only vote for the bill if it is below 800B(this is why the final bill was below).. I hope that Nancy Mussolini will fight to get it in and discourage the 2 from signing.....

Nancy was pissed because Reid jumped over her to get to the media concerning the Pork Package.
He announced it passed without her knowledge.

I'm thinking this is just a dog and pony show to make the public think that real consideration was applied before they go ahead and pass it anyway.
