It’s pretty obvious that oftentimes the media and the Democratic Party work in concert to marginalize opposition of a common goal. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos working with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel was just one example. The question is, how far will the media and Democrats take it?

According to Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., if the passage of ObamaCare is evidence, they’re willing to take it to achieve Draconian financial regulation and ultimate censorship of the Internet. On his April 19 Fox News Channel program, host Sean Hannity asked Bachmann if there were a double standard, or a coordinated attack as the “echo chamberâ€

It was good of Glenn Beck to show these cast of characters on his show. Those "characters" are now attacking those sounding the alarm on what this government and lefty liberal socialists are doing. They are the likes of William Ayers, who allegedly wanted to blow things up, and who rails against America. The likes of Van Jones, a Communist, who called Republicans names. The likes of Barack Obama, who admired radicals and socialists for his entire life. The likes of Reverend Wright, who spews venom from his lips toward the United States. Then you have Anita Dunn, who likes Mao, and other anti-America rulers. Valerie Jarrett, and the list goes on. These dangerous 60's radicals are now in power positions, and acting as if they are "normal," and that Americans speaking out are kooks. The anti America socialists are seating in our government, they are in the radical special interests, they are in mainstream media. President Clinton crafted his words carefully to cast a bad light on Tea Party attendees and others.

They are obviously seeing the growing numbers of Americans speaking out against their evil plans, and so they are trying to " name call us into submission." Too late. We are not going away, and we are only going to get larger in numbers, and louder in tone.

Americans, please vote those traitors out. Keep your voices, calls, emails going.

Bachmann, as usual, is using propaganda for her sheep to eat up. This is the same person that has taken $250,000 in farming subsidies. She doesn't know what she is talking about.

She's out pushing the notion that somehow, regulating Internet providers so that they cannot determine or limit public access is the same thing as communism.

Net neutrality is really the fundamental openness principle of the internet. Whenever you connect to the internet, net neutrality makes sure that you can connect to everyone else who’s on the internet. And this has been a tremendous engine for free speech, for economic innovation, for equal opportunity. And we are now fighting with some very prominent internet service providers, very powerful companies, to try to preserve that fundamental openness, so that whenever we go online we can choose, as users, where we go and what we do via the internet. It's about FREEDOM TO CHOOSE, nit this right-wing nutjobbery that Bachmann is spinning it into.

The point is once the federal government has established its "right" to regulate at this level, it can further regulate the net much as the FCC has done in the past via the misnamed Fairness Doctrine. The federal courts just ruled that the FCC does not have the authority under the constitution to regulate the internet via net neutrality. Frankly, net neutrality would undermine the infrastructure, and you would have less access than now even if the feds kept their hands off. And Obama and company have clearly demonstrated they will not keep their hands off. If it's not broke, don't tinker with it. It works fine now.

If you do not believe this, then I urge you to take a critical look at the history of federal regulation. Look at what the feds have done to our schools, industry, food chain, immigration management, health care (especially now), national security, and the list goes on. Some regulation is often required and desirable, but power hungry politicos do not know when to stop, or if they do, choose not to anyway. Regulation is their key to power, their lever to force the private sector to do their bidding. Who is regulating the regulators? Just us, and we have not been doing too great a job.
