Subject : [FTC] Robert Vasquez Warns of GOP Commitment to Crush Challengers Who Are Against Illegal Immigration

Dear Troops,

"When the GOP speaks of "leveling the playing field" and the Club for
Growth speaks of "unleashing the power of the free market" what they
really have in mind is grinding American workers into the ground, so that
Big Business can wring the maximum amount of profit out of them before
hanging them out to dry. Former Canyon County Commissioner Robert Vasquez experienced first-hand how far the GOP and CFG were prepared to go in defeating him during the Republican primary in Idaho's 1st Congressional District...."

Troops, it's deja vu all over again. What the GOP and their political
action network did to destroy any chance for Robert Vasquez to win the
election is not new. They have fine-tuned a prototype over the last
several decades - a model they use to defame, vilify, and misrepresent the
true conservatives - in favor of their RINO pick. They did it to Pat
Buchanan and continue today to run this con-job on gullible American
voters across the USA.

See our latest article below. Send a nice note to Robert Vasquez -
RVasquez@canyonco.org He is a true patriot and we encourage him to get back on the campaign trail. Let him know you will give him the support he needs.

For the Cause, Linda

PS -- Robert's speech at the Unite to Fight Summit in Las Vegas was
incredible, he brought the house down with thunderous applause. We are
working on getting all the videos on the site. Hopefully Robert's will be
up soon... stand by.

Robert Vasquez Warns of GOP Commitment to Crush Challengers Who Are
Against Illegal Immigration

For the Cause - Exclusive

Robert Vasquez Former Canyon County Commissioner Robert Vasquez lost his bid for Idaho's 1st Congressional seat in a six-way GOP primary race last month. Along the way, he met formidable resistance from the Club for Growth (CFG), a national pro-business advocacy group that supports
Republican candidates.

The CGF describes itself as a national network of over 30,000 men and
women, from all walks of life, who believe that prosperity and opportunity
come through economic freedom. Evidently, the CFG believed an assault on economic freedom was underway in the Idaho primary election, where illegal immigration was the key issue.

Agri-businesses feared that a crackdown on illegal immigrants would strip
them of the cheap labor on which they have become addicted. Of the six GOP candidates, only Vasquez was unequivocal in his opposition to illegal
immigration. "Corporations are running the government, and corporations
have no sense of sovereignty, nationality, or patriotism," he warned.

Rep. Tom Tancredo endorsed Robert Vasquez With twice the money to throw into the race, the CFG managed to even overcome Rep. Tom Tancredo's strong endorsement of Vasquez. Tancredo is among the nation's most visible critics of illegal immigration, particularly its devastating impact on working Americans. GOP primary winner Bill Sali's strong pro-business stance - no government interference - trumps his weak objections to open borders and amnesty.

The CFG does not come out explicitly for cheap labor and amnesty for
illegal aliens, but masks its support using such statements as: "We need
leaders who are committed to making our economy - and our country - as
strong as possible. These leaders will resist the corrosive tax and
spending temptations of Washington and work tirelessly to cut taxes and
unleash the power of the free market."

The CFG likes to describe itself as "pro-growth" - but only for Big
Business. For example, it supports candidates who promote outsourcing
American jobs overseas and who favor continued importation of cheap labor which has the effect of depressing the wages of American workers in many industries.

While foisting this carnage on American workers, CFG strongly objects to
raising the minimum wage to a paltry $5.70 an hour. Under this regime, a
full day's wages can evaporate at the gas pump with just one fill-up.

When the GOP speaks of "leveling the playing field" and the Club for
Growth speaks of "unleashing the power of the free market" what they
really have in mind is grinding American workers into the ground, so that
Big Business can wring the maximum amount of profit out of them before
hanging them out to dry.

If that means expanding the base of cheap foreign labor, legally or
illegally, they'll do it. And if they have to crush challengers in the
Republican Party who stand in the way, like Robert Vasquez, they'll do
that too.

In the Idaho primary, the CFG spent $430,000 on behalf of the winning
candidate, including $133,000 for a television ad in two of the state's TV
markets criticizing Vasquez. "They used deceit and disinformation to place
their pick in the November general election," Vasquez said.

"This is indicative of the commitment that the current Republican Party
leadership, from President Bush, the U.S. Senate, and members of the House of Representatives, all hold to open borders and cheap labor," Vasquez noted.

Vasquez, who is the grandson of Mexican immigrants, warned: "The example provided in Idaho by CFG should serve as notice to those of us battling the invasion of illegal aliens that we are fighting on two fronts; the
first is of course the obvious organizations like La Raza and MeCha. The
second is greed-driven, global-minded, one-world government elitists, bent
on the destruction of our country, for just one more dollar in profit."

The CFG also takes a strong stand on taxes. Again, Vasquez refused to play along. "A 'promise' actually means something to me," he explained. "I will not pander to a catch phrase and then make excuses later when I must deal with reality."

The Club for Growth has become a viperous foe in recent years, knocking
well-qualified, patriotic candidates out of key races before they can
reach the general election. The CFG focuses on about 30 races per election
cycle. Considering the narrowing margins of House and Senate votes on
important issues confronting working Americans, this is often enough to
assure the political dominance of Big Business.

If we don't start paying attention to the enemies within, we can be
assured of continued outsourcing of American jobs, expanded importation of skilled workers under a corrupt H1-B program, and the increased flow of
cheap labor from Mexico. Add to all that the massive taxpayer subsidies
for Big Business, and you can see that middle class Americans who have to
pay for all this do not have much wiggle room, especially as their wages
and benefits shrink.

The Club for Growth is aptly named - they're swinging a "club" at all of
us, and are just as dangerous as La Raza and MeCha. Just ask Robert
Vasquez. He can be reached at RVasquez@canyonco.org.
