Thread: What happened to Ramos and Compean?

What is the latest news on Ramos and Compean? It's as if someone clipped the stories wings. Their case hasn't been resolved yet, has it?

The last I heard, some lady judge (don't remember her name) denied their request to delay sentencing. So, it looks like they're back at square one and facing sentencing (don't know the exact date).

I'm in Southern Cali and a radio station here was just interviewing

Ramos, his wife, and his father in law. I still can't believe this whole

thing?? Those poor people. A minimum of 10 yrs in a maximum

security prison..possibly 20 yrs! He has 3 kids.

Well we can all be sure this will send a clear message to all those

scumbag drug dealers that they can get away with anything. Especially

winning a lawsuit for 5 million dollars! This is just so disgusting I don't

know what else to say.

I don't know how the american people can by this whole war on terror

crap?? When He does nothing to defend our borders!! And demands that

Juanita, I feel the same way. The entire situation is simply unbelievable. I would have thought that they would put off sentencing until the House held their hearing on the case. It doesn't make any sense that they would send them to prison, and then possibly turn around later and either hold a new trial, or release them, or reduce their sentence, or whatever based on the outcome of the hearing. Personally, I think Bush and Gonzales, the two thugs, should get down on their knees and beg for their foregiveness over how they've been treated.

We have to wonder?? How can the border patrol
agents even feel confident in doing their job anymore?
They have clearly been sent the message that they are
no longer allowed to do their job.
It is so so tragic for this to have happenned.
We all must vote these politicians out of office!!

I am ashamed to say that lately I have been slacking
in the fight against illegal immigration, but this was
a brutal wake up call!! No more!!

This shouldn't surprise anyone. After Jimmy Carter took office, he started having people replaced by "loyal" people in both the Department of Justice and the Department of Commerce. They have been replacing people continuously since then. We have maybe 10-20% left that are loyal to America. This is how our laws are being rewritten. They are not being rewritten by elected officials.

I do too..he was talking about that very same thing in
his interview. The fact that he was not at all going to
be popular in prison because he is law enforcement.

Also, you are also right about this being beyond ridiculous!

I am going to bring this whole story to anyone and everyone's
