Domestic Portion Of Iraq Spending Bill Really Fishy
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, or maybe I missed something as I have not seen all the CSPAN coverage on this bill. But have you noticed that no one has been on the Senate floor to argue FOR the amnesty provision in this bill. And everytime I've heard CSPAN talk about the domestic spending portion of the bill, they mention everything except this. Josh Rogin from the Congressional Quarterly was just talking about this, and he didn't mention it, either. He only talked about Veterans benefits and unemployment insurance as part of the domestic portion of the bill. He never mentioned the amnesty provision at all. Is this a ploy to keep this portion quiet so less people know about it, therefore cutting down on the opposition? Or am I just being paranoid?
