Thread: ILLEGAL EMPLOYERS WIPING OUT MIDDLE CLASS

I have always been a Republican. Even though the attached article
seems to have been written by a Democrat, what is written makes a lot of sense to me. It does seem that any govt enforcement against illegal employers seems to be focused on small or medium businesses--not on US big business. I would like to see enforcement against big businesses (perhaps at least one in each major industry) accompanied by US citizen boycotts of targeted big business.

I think big home builder companies should be targeted, since I've read that many of the illegals go to construction jobs rather than the "traditional" agricultural jobs--since construction jobs pay better. This way, the illegal aliens might begin to either self deport or work in the fields, and the US citizens, can get or keep their jobs, at a fair wage.

It upset me, today, to see Martha Stewart market her custom homes--once I saw that she is associated with KB homes--where I've read on the Internet, hires subcontractors who use illegals. (I bought a house 10 years ago, that I later found out used illegals. I had to put on a new roof, and put "green wall" or whatever it is called behind the tiles in the shower--the DUMB workers just put the shower tiles over dry wall.) It makes me wonder how many more shoddy, new houses are not going to sell, in this, supposed, upcoming housing recession I read about.

Wipe out the Middle Class and no one will buy their goods or services. The low wage employees buy cheep stuff from the dollar stores. These businesses are actually doing themselves a disservice. Who really has the buying power in this country? The middle class. The wealthy will not waste their time with low quality merchandise. These companies are not exporting their goods, they are selling them within. They are ruining our economy. The cheep labor is not contributing enough back to the retail sector. Take the middle class jobs and you are taking away sales. If employees can not afford the goods they manufacture then they go out in the market place and undercut the company sales by going to the competition or even worse second hand. People wonder what happened to company loyalty. I’m just rambling. Corporate idiots. All you are going to have left in the end is a bunch of competitors with hordes of cheap labors and no buyers because they were outsourced and replaced.

You're right, Dixie. The initial problem is that they don't think these things through..they just look at the short term profits of cheap labor.

I had my bathroom floor replaced last year. The contractor I hired to replace the floor sent a crew of Hispanics (4) to do the job. Of course I can't prove they were illegal, but out of the four, only one spoke any English at all. His English was very limited, we had to call his boss twice during the job because I couldn't communicate with him. Okay, on to the story. Fast-forward 3 weeks, all the sudden I begin to notice place in the floor, in front of my toilet, that is not level. I call the contractor and he comes out and looks at the floor. He tells me it is cosmetic (barely noticable) and nothing to worry about. Of course I told him he should stand behind his work at make it right. After about 15 minutes of discussion he finally agrees to send someone out to see if the floor can be leveled from beneath the house. A week later two of the four Hispanic gentleman that replaced my floor went under the house and hammered in some extra bracing. This helped some, but it still wasn't perfect, but I decided to let it slide so I could be done with it. Fast-forward 2 weeks, now I notice the floor is separating infront of the bathtub and there is knot under one of the tiles (looks like a nail coming up). Of couse I call the contractor back and he comes out to the house. He sees where the floor is separating and says that is definitely a problem that he'll fix, but he'll have his people fix it from beneath the house because it would cost him too much to take up the flooring. As for the knot, he agrees, it does look like a nail, but swears his folks know to use screws vice nails to fasten down the flooring plywood. Okay, he sends another guy out, a big bubba white guy (swear the guy was about 6'5" 400 lbs) with an African-American helper. He took one look at the floor and said there was no-way he could fix it from under the house. He ended up taking all the floor tiles up and sure enough, the crew that laid the floor used nails instead of screws. To make a long story short, he screwed all the plywood down and retiled the floor - haven't had a problem since.

I talked with "big bubba" while he was working. According to him, he has had to fix the "other crews" problems on a couple of other occasions during the last couple weeks. From what I could gather, it seems the four individuals on the crew that originally done my floor hired on together (they all know each other). Boy, if those folks don't have illegal written all over them, I don't know who does.

Next time I need work done, I will do a better job of screening those I hire!

I think that the globalist are more concerned with larger markets than they are with high end merchandise. Regardless of how much we make or do not make we have to buy things. One thing we had going for us was agriculture but NAFTA screwed that up Canada can sell us cows that have prions in their system that will eat holes in your brain 20 years down the road and Mexico can sell us produce fertilized with God knows what. We are also going to have to share the space for food grown here with corn or soy for ethanol which means food grown here will have to cost more to justify the farmer not growing crops to be made into gas.

What are prions? Didn't our ranchers try to get our government to pass a law to have our meat marked with a sticker saying, what country it came from? And they refused to do this!

The thing with testing is that IIRC the FDA only samples the herds, not testing every animal. I recall a news report back during the last uproar over mad cow disease where a rancher wanted to test ALL of his herd and certify the animals as clean, but the FDA threatened to prosecute him if he did so.

Of course, a brain damaged population might be more docile and easier to manage (kinda like our herd animals such as cows). Introducing such diseases might be part of a plan to eliminate the middle class and impose a quasi feudal social order of elite and serfs. /tin-foil hat

I read all the complaints on this board. I stopped coming for a while because I was really disappointed. First, at the fact that American citizens didn't get out to show our opinion to the media by protesting the prescence of illegal immigration. Secondly, the fact that no one will stand up for our country. Not the law makers, not Congress, not the Democrats, and not the Repuplicans? Once our leaders don't care we are doomed. I'm African American and I know all too well what happens to communities all over the country when the leadership has failed the people. I don't know if most of you know what happens but I can tell you it's not a pretty sight. People unemployed, lost homes, lost wages, and people with a sense of lost hope. Everyone is waiting on the other to make a move. This issue has really made people terrified. The first, thing we are called when we will not conform to this is racist. How can they call us racist when white and black alike stand together on this issue. Despite what you hear from so called black leaders or actors who support this, many African Americans are tired. At the same time, we don't want to stand at the front. However, when the time comes we have always stood with our white counterparts. What will happen as our country goes under? What will happen as they become the new leaders of this country? What will happen to the rights of many blacks as they go into power?
