    Bill Stalls!

They just announced on CNN that the bill has stalled. What do we need to do now? Turn the pressure up? I'm all for that!

Yeah, baby! Keep the pressure up on lawmakers. Let all the illegals make fools of themselves with more protests.

I have been writing them to atleast be able to secure the borders. Is there some reason they can't vote on that? That's a security issue as well as a major problem with illegal immigration.. Otherwise we have a couple weeks with nothing done and god knows what and how many more pouring over the borders for their AMNESTY.

Everyday the Bill stalls is a defeat for the opposition, but don't assume anything, keeping pressure on the Senate is good, but we must think Preemptively and keep Pressure on Congress just in case, a good strategist always assumes the worst.

this is going to get a lot worse before it gets better, but the more Americans that learn what's going on the better

P.S., one reason this might be stalled is the 'fact' Bush's credibility has been questioned and he authorized the leak of classified information --- some of these republicans might be wanting to distance themselves from their leader . . . you know with the Senate, it's ALL about politics and re-election

I know I heard they don't have the people in jobs to even begin to handle this if they did give amnesty, and no means to enforce anything anyway and that's why they wouldn't pass it. I don't think they even got to the schooling or anything. So I'm glad they stalled it. They're always trying to sneek something in, in their "package " deal. It just still baffles me why they will not secure our borders! It's like they want trouble. Any idea what the rest of the world thinks of this fiasco? I read France is waiting to see what we do coz they're having the same issues.

You would think that after 9/11, the borders would have been shut ASAP. Think of how many would be terrorists already crossed the border via Mexico. God forbids if another tragedy happens. It's really upsetting.

i knew this was going to happen. they're hoping to stall this long enough to outlast the elections in November.

the upside is that it's not all on the Republican side as the media and top ranking Democrats would like eveyrone to believe. Labor Unions and many Minority groups are starting to step up and voice their displeasure with the Illegal Immigration problem. Both groups have always sided with the Democratic party, hsitorically, but even die hard Dems have taken notice and are starting to complain. This is where the numbers will tip the scale in the politicians eyes.

i don't think we need to keep up the pressure so much as inundate all levels of govt with even more calls and petitions.

    just my opinion.
