    Bumper stickers DO get the word out!!

    Since Monday I have had a "HONK If You Hate Illegal Immigration" bumper sticker on my vehicle and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

    Yes folks, fellow AMERICAN drivers are honking and waving EVERYTIME I am out and about! There is NO doubt that the majority of the American public feels exactly the same way we do..they just need someone to voice it, PUBLICLY, first. That is OUR job, so please do your part!

    I do NOT however, recommend anything overt, like the "AMERICA Not AMEXICO - Close Our Borders Now!" bumper sticker my husband placed on his hooptie at the same time. Even the non english speaking/reading illegals get the gist of this message and the response from same has been scary (lots of middle fingers, 2 shouts of racist, and 1 spitter). We will be covering that one up with something less radical ("Tancredo for President"?) ASAP as we fear vandalism will result if it remains.

    honk and wave?

    Hey there greyparrot... just wondering, of all the people who honk and wave in positive response to your bumper sticker, are they all Caucasian people or have any of them appeared to be Mexican? I know if I were a Mexican person who had worked my butt off to come here LEGALLY, learn the lanquage, wait my turn in line, etc...I'd be REALLY pissed that so many others are allowed to sneak in here and get a free ride while my government just looks the other way!

    LOL!! My husband runs his family owned salvage yard and, unlike most guys, he could care less what he drives. One hooptie can always be replaced by another hooptie...as long as he is making money. I like that about him.

    Honkers/wavers are ALL obviously American citizens, so appearance is so NOT an issue.
