The boycott was not peaceful

On May 1, I stood alone with my sign across from the boycott in Vista. My sign read: "You lose your rights when you enter the United States illegally. Our rights, the American citizens!" Even though I didn't respond to the man making stupid remarks to me about who my parents were, the Mexicans felt threatened and crossed the street and got very unruly. The deputies from Vista sheriff's department sided with the Mexican boycotters.

Where was the Border Patrol? How many more laws are we going to bend? Our own people don't receive the benefits that illegals get easily. Oh, let's pity the illegals, and send a bill to the federal government and to Mexico.

Slave labor wages paid by big corporations should pay for their health insurance and housing costs. Stop them from taxing us twice - buying the product and paying for their livelihood.

Don't want to support illegals? Contact the Minutemen group. Get involved.

Don't patronize companies that hire illegals. I do this, and I get my food and orders without the language barriers. I don't know Spanish because I'm an American.
