Hillary: It's Not a Girl Thing

Hillary: It's Not a Girl Thing

Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday that her status as the Democratic presidential front-runner - not her gender - has led her male primary rivals to intensify their criticism of her.

"I don't think they're piling on because I'm a woman. I think they're piling on because I'm winning," Clinton told reporters after filing paperwork to appear on the New Hampshire primary ballot.

"I anticipate it's going to get even hotter, and if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. I'm very much at home in the kitchen," she said.

The New York senator's comments came three days after a televised debate in which her six male opponents challenged her character, electability and apparent unwillingness to answer tough questions.

Her campaign reacted strongly to what it called "piling on." One fundraising e-mail it sent out called Clinton "one tough woman" and decried the "six on one" nature of the debate criticism. Clinton herself referred to the "all boys club of presidential politics" in a speech at Wellesley College Thursday.

Clinton spoke to reporters outside the office of New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner, who has the sole authority to set the date for the state's primary.

Gardner has indicated it will be no later than Jan. 8, rather than the planned date of Jan. 22 because Michigan and Florida have taken steps to move their contests up.

I don't call it "piling on", I call it astute observation and.....in a rare display by the majority of her opponents......being truthful.

If she would have answered the question about NY drivers Licenses honest and straight forward, they would not of pounced on her, but she can't seem to answer a direct question with a direct honest answer!

But, keep it up Hilllary you are definitly hurting your chances.

She should stop whining, and stop trying to blame Tim Russert for asking a basic question about drivers licenses for illegal aliens. There is no game of "gotcha" here. Americans do not want illegal immigrants to have drivers licenses, period. She was afraid to answer this with a simple "NO" because she doesn't want to anger her OBL and pro-illegal alien allies.

    Her responses to leaving Iraq.
    1. As soon as I'm President
    2. Within 90 days
    3. I can't say exactly when

All 3 of these were given within a 2 month period. One thing about being a liar, it's hard to remember just exactly what the last lie was. You don't have that problem with the truth.

How can she say NO to these licenses, she is the main beneficiary of voter fraud in NY.
She could be also co-author of this abomination.

I remember when she ran for Senate she played the same victim role in the debates. She was challenged by.....what was his name......the dude who took Giuliani's place when he dropped out. And everyone though he was picking on her. Hillary plays the damzel in distress routine when it fits her political aims. If it ends up Hillary vs. Giuliani this is going to be played out BIG TIME against the slithering scum bag Giuliani. A lot of women may see Giuliani like one of their sleazy ex-boyfriends or ex-husbands, and sympathize with Hillary. Hillary is a master politician.

And as far as not being able to answer a question, or come down on an issue, I am fairly sure she learned that from Bill.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!
