House Republicans stand up for YOU again!

The did it on McCain scmanesty and they are doing it now. A select group of HOUSE Republicans are saying no to this bailout because they see you, the taxpaayer, getting the shaft. It was also the HOUSE REPUBLICANS who bucked Bush, Kennnedy and McCain on scamnesty.

If DEMOCRATS and OBAMA are so concerned about "Main street" then why are they so eager to push this bailout through? Who wanted minorities and illegals without income to get bad loans? DEMOCRATS and then some Republicans who saw a buck in it all.

So who loves ya baby? As much as McCain is despicable over scamnesty this teflon Obama is just plain scary. Who is this Democrat clown Barney Frank? Chris Dodd?

Alipacdude, I am totally shocked, disgusted, and frightened by what it sure looks like "connections" or whatever you would call it to Obama and Fannie Mae and Freddie. I read so many articles last night regarding OBAMA and his connections to all of this that I am just about in a state of shock.

I am appalled at Chris Dodd and Barney Frank and to tell you the truth it certainly appears that the Democrats could just about be considered to hold the overall responsibility for all of this.

I ALSO came across videos and the absolute truth that believe it or not.....McCain and Bush both warned and warned about this.....tried to pass legislation to stop what was going on so that this would not happen and the Democrats stoppped it.

The American people must find the truth about all of this. It is absolutely necessary, and by the way, I totally support what you're saying.

I have to run now, but later today I will post the videos and articles backing everything that I'm saying here.

To say that McCain and Bush tried to pass legislation may be wrong, but they did warn about this and they tried to avert this from happening, and all the while Barney Frank and others said that they were all wrong and that everything was fine.

I would appreciate if any others who have a good understanding about this would tell the story in plain English so that all of us can have a better understanding regarding Obama's part in all of this and the whole story so that we will know as we prepare for election day.

I am no expert, but everything I read last night points to what I am saying in my opinion.

But I sure would welcome more expertise on this.

Maybe we could call this the thread of truth, written in plain English for every American who gives a darn about this country.

It may not be true that they "tried" very hard. The following July, 2008 article is by an outstanding Washington correspondent Robert Novak & what he says about the Bush officials who were aware of this problem may interest you:
The only senior executive branch officials who expressed alarm about overextended Fannie and Freddie were Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers, and their warnings were shrugged off.
The whole article is here & is worth a read as it shows an alarming degree of "conflict of interest" for Paulson to be put in the position of managing the crisis involving Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. And I don't give Bush any pass either, since he's the one who APPOINTED Paulson!

So, do you still think Dubya REALLY worked hard to fix the problem, or was it perhaps just another bandaid effort (like these token criminal alien round-ups that he's got Chernoff doing)?
