I'm making calls for Saxby Chambliss. As most of you know, there is a run off for his seat in GA. If you would like to participate and make calls for him you can PM me for the link.

You would fill out the form check "make phone calls" ONLY.

It will link to an area with phone numbers. When you are done there is an information sheet "bubble sheet" for you to mark. (e.g. busy, message machine, Yes, No, etc.)

They give you a script to go by. I usually change it a little just to make it my own and more natural.

So if you want to try and keep the Senate from a super majority of 60, PM me.

I'm using SKYPE which comes to 2 cents per call plus 4cents connection. I haven't used $1.00 yet and I've called 10 people.

Come alipacers you can do it.

It's easy they give you script. They only ask the person two questions. You are usually done within 30 - 60 seconds per call.

What's interesting is some people don't even know there is a runoff. LOL

Ya SKYPE is amazing. I've spent $1.39 and made 20 calls. Unbelieveable.

All people I've spoken to have been very nice. Only one voting Democrat but still very nice.

With the Dec. 2 run-off election between Republican U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss and Democratic challenger Jim Martin fast approaching, the competition in Georgia is becoming incredibly fierce.

At stake is the senate seat now held by Chambliss, Republicans fear it could turn Democratic.

Democrats will hold at least 58 seats in the U.S. Senate come January. A Chambliss defeat would bring it to 59 – just one vote shy of a filibuster-proof hold by Democrats.

The Democrats continue to pour massive resources into Georgia hoping to defeat the incumbent Chambliss. Political strategists say voter turnout will be key.

Here are the latest developments:

On Sunday, former Vice President Al Gore stumped for Martin. This followed a visit earlier in the week by former President Bill Clinton.

Barack Obama began airing radio ads for Martin, largely targeted at the African-American community.

Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani campaigned this past week for Chambliss.

Between Oct. 16 and Nov.12, FEC filings show that Martin raised $2.4 million to Chambliss' $1.9 million.

The National Republican Trust PAC (GOPtrust.com) launched a new TV ad tying Martin to Obama and Pelosi's plan for new taxes on the wealthy, abortion rights and gun control.

Liberal activist groups like NARAL Pro-Choice America, the Service Employees International Union, the League Of Conservation Voters Action Fund and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee have sent more than $1.7 million to help Martin.

Once thought a safe seat, the GOP is no longer sure about Georgia. Republicans have already seen the Alaska seat held by Republican Ted Stevens slip away, and Republican Norm Coleman's lead in Minnesota has dwindled to less than 200 votes.

If you are helping to call on the Chambliss race here is some new information for you during the calling.

I am calling Columbus, GA residents as that is my home town and many friends and all family still live there.
MOST were NOT aware that they can now Vote early. There is ONLY one place to vote early right now,the Government Center, downtown on 10th street. MON Nov 24 - WED Nov 26 Columbus, GA voters can vote at the Public Library on Macon Road. So if any of you get Muscogee County, Columbus, GA phone numbers, make sure you remind them of this.

This is just one city but if that city pops up in your phone bank you can use this info.
