H-1B Website will Shake our Conscience!

Keep in mind: The H--1B and L-1 visas are NON-immigrant visas. Nonetheless, the "YOU OWE US YOUR JOBS" H-1Bs are now demanding green cards. The 6 year cheap labor H-1B and indefinite L-1 visas (controlled mostly by India) have sent nearly a half a million Americans to the unemployment lines so far. Senator Cornyn wants to increase American technical unemployment by doubling the current 65,000 H-1B arrivals per year. Under Congressional mandate, the US Department of Labor has earmarked over 65,000 jobs that are off limits to Americans and reserved strictly for H-1B visa holders.

Efforts to obtain green cards (and citizenship if they want it) for over half a million H-1B Non-immigrant visa holders are underway at the immigration voice website. Up until now, the two biggest H-1B websites have avoided latching onto the coat tails of illegals. Given the anticipated successes of the illegals (and their Communist backed handler organizations), a senior member of the immigration voice website has determined that the newly published book, Against Perils and Odds: A Boy's Trek to the U.S., by Terry Gross, will change Americans attitudes toward illegals and H-1Bs!

Enrique's Journey is a very powerful book written by an LA Times journalist about illegal migrants who take the Tren de los muertos, or the Train of the Dead to get to the US.

I hope so. I had tears all through while reading the excerpts from the book, and hearing Sonia Nazario on NPR today.

Looks to me like the ["you owe us your jobs!"] H-1Bs are latching onto the illegals for a free ride to [undeserved] citizenship.


Well, folks, I guess as soon as everyone reads that book, this website will dry up and we'll be begging illegals to come into our homes.

I am not in the tech field- just an old Granny lady that has been watching this horror grow for over 25 years.

It isn't just the tech field that is being affected.

My daughter decided to change her major, return to school to become a teacher. She came home for a year, worked two jobs, sang for some scholarship money, and worked her heart out for a year. She would leave home at 7:00 am and get back around 11:30 pm. A friend of hers sent her a copy of a news article from the paper in the state where she had been living. The most affluent school district in that state had decided to fix their money problems. They retired all teachers eligible, forced early retirement on some and brought in dozens of Indian teachers.

Pilgrim's Poultry has a raft of foreign workers - legal workers. They came here under some NAFTA provision. These are not chicken pluckers, these are upper income white collar workers.

Jimmy and Mrs. Carter proudly announced their son had been working with an organization that was bringing in thousands of nurses from India.

It is very pervasive.

I think there is a reason for this and it isn't just profit.
