Mr. President:

In your speech on May 15, 2006, you sought to comfort the American people by stating that the '....vast majority of illegal immigrants are decent people who work hard, support their families, practice their faith, and lead responsible lives.'

My questions, sir:

*If that is so, why is it necessary to send ANY armed national guardsmen to secure the borders?

*On the other hand, if illegal immigration is indeed a legitimate threat to a nation engaged in a 'war on terror,' why should the 12-20 million illegal aliens currently here be allowed to stay?

*If the illegal alien population within America was comprised of mostly young men of middle-eastern extraction:

-Would you oppose mass deportation? and

-Would 6,000 national guardsmen at the border be sufficient?

*Of the illegal aliens actually now here, how many are young men of middle-eastern extraction? How many of those are terrorists or potential terrorists?

*How is your administration going to cull out terrorists and potential terrorists among those '..decent, hard-working folk?'

And finally,

*Give your constitutional responsibility to protect and defend America from all enemies foreign and domestic, would it not be simpler, and safer, to permanently seal off the border with armed military, deport all illegal aliens now here, and aggressively enforce all existing immigration laws in the future?

Thank You.
