The Assault on American Culture Now Reaches You Even Before You Eat Breakfast

Good ol' Cheerios cereal-a staple breakfast of my childhood-is offering childrens' books inside specially marked packages, courtesy of the Simon and Schuster book company. I've seen these books in cereal boxes before, and at first it didn't hit me-that 5 out of the 6 books in the selection offered are-you got it-bilingual English/Spanish books. And what really floors me is the "anglo" last names of the authors!!!!

Now while there is inherently nothing wrong with being able to speak more than one language, I ask, why is only one specific language being offered-why not also Chinese, a Native American language, French, or Swahili-if it's just a way of making American children more competent in the world by learning other languages? Or is it what I suspect it is-an attempt to murder our culture by presenting ONE language choice-and that being the language of millions who are trying to remake our nation into a carbon copy of themselves-and trying to get very young kids to internalize someone else's culture in an effort to confuse it with their own, as well as prepare them for a future in which English is no longer the language that defines America????

I just sent my complaint and urge everyone to do the same. I am so sick of spanish being forced down our throughts!!!
I mentioned how there were so many languages spoken all across the USA and asked why they were catering to the latino community only and that I was highly dissapointed.

I don't care what anyone says, just say something!!!!!!
