Obama, GOP set to sacrifice America's unemployed on altar of Hispanic votes?

The 7 million illegal aliens holding payroll jobs in the construction, transportation, service and manufacturing industries would be home free if President Obama makes good on his Nov. 14 announcement to grant amnesty to the nation's 11 million illegal aliens.
And where would that leave the nation's 23 million Americans of regardless of race or ethnicity who are unable to find full-time work? If you are artistically inclined and like to draw nature scenes, make sure your finished product includes a canoe, a creek, but no paddle.
Obama's latest attempt to lure even more Hispanic votes to the Democratic Party was made possible in part because of the 70 percent turnout by Latinos on Nov. 6, but he's also getting plenty of encouragement from spineless Republicans like Speaker John Boehner and Sen. Lindsey Graham who are displaying no shortage of stupidity when they throw in with the Democrats on amnesty.
The Republicans for decades have supported high levels of immigration in order to provide the business community with plenty of cheap foreign labor, and what do they have to show for it? Isn't it ironic that they are unable to connect politically with the very same people for whom they held the door open all these years? Do they will really believe that Obama's amnesty will be any more successful than the other 7 amnesties in ending illegal immigration? And what answer does the GOP have for why Hispanics didn't flock in large numbers to their party following President Reagan's 1986 amnesty for 3 million illegals?
Immigrants traditionally vote for Democrats because that party is the party that promises the most benefits an support. The Pew Hispanic Center in April issued a report showing that Hispanics love big government and the large safety net that it provides.
A question being thrown around recently goes something like this: What do Republicans have to do to "out-immigrant" the Democrats? Well, thanks to Boehner, Graham and their ilk, we now know. Again, too bad for America's unemployed. Especially those who bought into Mr. Obama's earlier claims that jobs for Americans are a "top priority." Guess what his priority is right now?
American workers won't be the only big losers. Political pundits for years have been warning that the nation's immigration policy will ultimately lead to the Republican Party's descent into permanent minority party status. So Republicans have to ask themselves why they would want to support an Obama amnesty for millions of new Democrats? Why didn't the Grand Old Party allow Mitt Romney to take a stand for all unemployed Americans who are the real victims of our "broken" immigration policy?
