It would be good if people would go and see for themselves. In Miami Dade County it is police only as gang unit officers do some of the instruction.

Each year here local there is about three a year two closed, one open

Gang prevention doesn't that make about as much sense as military intelligence? LA has had gang prevention programs for decades and the number of gangsters has only steadily increased.

I know a woman who told me the Longos in Long Beach, CA are recruiting kids in middle schools now.

It is true that gangs are now recruiting in middle school that is due to the fact that most kids that age can be easily impressed by them and makes it easier to recruit them. That is happening in Miami as well.

Its our Job as Parents to prevent this. No mater what the cost...
