Georgia Power Has it Right
If you call Georgia Power Electric Company, you will not have to press one for English.
They answer in English and tell you if you would like to continue in English, please hold for a momemt. It really only takes a moment and they say if you want to continue in Spanish press 2.
Then the recording says, "Thank you" and continues right on in English, you are not forced to press anything to communicate in English.
