Illegal immigration can be stopped with the laws we already have. ICE is doing it.
Border security is of no importance in controlling illegal immigration. It is important to stop drug smugglers and terrorist. To control illegal immigration is to dry up the incentives and they are jobs and automatic birthright citizenship.

If they cannot work without a legal documents to work they will not attempt to cross the border illegally to get here.

If the automatic birthright citizenship is taken away they will not have an anchor to secure their ability to come here and to stay.

Broken border, broken system. Neither is broken. Our government is broken for not enforcing laws we already have. We have laws to secure the border and workplace enforcement. Enforce the laws we already have will fix illegal immigration.

Employers could verify, today, if a worker is legal or not if they wanted to. ICE do it. They don’t do it because they want the endless supply of cheap labor.

Ice is verifying who is legal and who is not when they raid businesses. Employers can do the same if they wanted to.

Or immigration system has not worked in 50 years and it is not because of the immigration laws. It has not worked because it has not been the will of our leaders to make it work. The only will they have today is to give the 12-20 million illegals that are here amnesty.
Fines and fees are not a penalty to pay for citizenship. Citizenship is not for sale. There is only one legal avenue to gain citizenship and that is to follow the laws that apply to everyone who want to enter this country and become a citizen. Any other way is amnesty.

We are not against any bill just an amnesty bill.

We are not against immigration just illegal immigration.

This bill clearly gives racial preference to Hispanics by giving them legal status and through a guest workers program mainly of Hispanics. Special interest advocates of this bill are Hispanic organizations. It does not give the same for Cubans and Haitians. They are deported.

Any bill that allow illegal aliens who have broken al our immigration laws ro remain in this country with legal status, under the disguise of fines and fees, is amnesty no matter what you call it.

This bill cannot pass.
