    Crazy Question

Sometimes, I just want to know what people think so here's a question.

Why can't states deport illegal aliens?

If they are in custody and determined to be illegal aliens, why do local governments have to let them go out the back of the jail house door. Why can't they send them to the state line and leave them there?

States control what goes on within their boundaries.

    Crazy like a fox!

Start a new movement... we've had some very heavy crimes in our area lately involving illegal aliens.

They should be able to deport them fromt he state. Actually they could hand them directly to the hands of another state. Then that state could deport them to another state ....until they ended up in a state that has a border with Mexico. At that point the border state could deport them out of the state to Mexico or whatever country they are from. If they are not from south of the border, then the same thing could be done for eastern states. For instance, New York could deport them out of New York to ...say...Africa. I dont see why states should not be able to do this.

I was thinking along the lines of state jurisdiction too. States can control commerce and such things as transporting minors across state lines, why not illegal aliens?

Often there is no ICE officer to take the illegals off the hands of the police or sheriff.

I have not been here too long but looking at the articles it seems to me that many police, ICE, BP, sheriffs are all starting to try to prosecute and deport along with the will of the taxpayers despite government interference. Is that wishful thinking or are some long-timers to this forum getting the same idea?

Dixie, that idea is right up there with mixing black eyed peas and cabbage.

When the people of this country learn more, and demand more of their respective state legislators then we will see change.

Why not have the states tell the feds, 'here he is, deport him, get him out of our state.' Then the state should spell out the consequences for violation upon a second offense. All financial costs should be payed for by the feds.

Is this not what Arizona is showing the people of this country? States do have rights?
