Hope you don't mind me sharing

I have been a member here for a few weeks, but I feel I know you all.

I want to share that my husband left today for a deployment to the Middle East. That is all I will say, as "loose lips sink ships." But he did leave and will be gone for at least 6 months, then home, then another 6.

I am really, really sad, on so many levels. I am so dismayed by the immigration issue, and that fact that this good, good man has to leave and supposedly work 24/7 to fight off terrorism there while our borders are wide open at home. I can't even begin to explain how this affects me and our family. He should be in a relatively safe area, but there are always risks, as we know.

Anyway, just a hint of what we're going through, and to let you know that guys are leaving everyday, great men, leaving their homes and families, while God knows who is pouring in across the south and north. We have been married over 20 years and have three kids, two older teenagers and a little guy.

This is going to be a tough year, but I'm glad I'm up on the issues and up on the potential dangers that exist due to illegal immigration. I feel that I am more aware and can possibly even take measures to defend myself if I have to. Actually, I am thinking about doing that, if anyone might have any hints. Thanks for letting me share.

God Bless you, your family and your husband, jjmm. Your husband is a patriot, and you are as well. May God and his fighting brothers keep them all safe. We here, at ALIPAC, will be fighting the border wars here at home to make sure he has a country that he can be proud of to come home to.

    jjmm,

I've got a lot of military in my family. PM me the branch and I can hook you up with a loving online support system. They completely understand what you are going through.

Bless you and your husband and family......as everyone has said....you're all a part of our family now and we'll be here for you. And please keep us posted......it would be nice to hear from people who are there and what's really happening instead of what they want us to know............I just know our service people of the past and those fighting today aren't fighting for open borders and an invasion. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all...

We all feel the same way I am sure jjmm. Dont worry tho, we are going to reverse years of this country being sold out.

When I retired from the military, I finally realized that we were protecting illegals while they lived off of my paid taxes.
