Thread: Why so Many Illiterate in English? Hispanic Racism!

Hispanic racists are constantly claiming that Spanish MUST be taught and spoken in order to preserve Mexican cultural identity. Mind you, if my identity was as a toilet cleaner or fruit picker, I would do whatever might be necessary to change that MO!

In San Jose, a fruit cannery recently closed to make room for homes. Most of the people who lost their jobs were Mexicans with an average of 30 years service who were unable to speak, write or understand English! For 30 years these people lived in an English-dominant society, but were either too lazy or too stupid, or both, to learn English.

So when the cannery gig ended, it finally dawned on these people that they were unemployable because or their inability to speak or write the language employed in the overwhelming majority of businesses.

I had zero pity for them, but of course the local rag, the San Jose Murky News, opined that the city and county had a moral obligation to fork over whatever money might be needed to help these proud Latinos find work.

Disgraceful coddling of people who in many cases do not even belong here!

Yes, the editor of the Merc is very pro-illegal. Did you catch the piece about not punishing children of illegals by giving them in-state tuition? I had sent in a letter regarding amnesty which did not make it in the paper.

Do you find no one in town talking about illegal immigration? There's tons of illegals here, but no one I run into speaks of it.

Yes, I saw the ridiculous editorial about Anchor Babies. The Murkey is wildly pro-illegals, to the point where they make no sense.

There is talk about illegals but not much.

I think thats pretty true all over- no one wants to be labeled as racist.

Oh gosh, herelegally! You have hit a nerve now! THIRTY YEARS in our country and COULDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH???

That is absolutely INEXCUSABLE and I just can't UNDERSTAND WHY all of these groups don't have a good answer for that. I just still contend that, if we do it for one group of people, it should be obligatory that we do it for EVERY group of people who immigrate (LEGALLY) to our country. Those from other countries don't seem to have a problem LEARNING to communicate in English so it just tells me one thing. These Hispanic immigrants don't WANT to learn English. They don't WANT to assimilate. They really BELIEVE that we OWE IT TO THEM to provide everything to them in THEIR LANGUAGE INCLUDING APPLICATIONS FOR WELFARE and BALLOTS FOR ILLEGALS.

I'm gonna stroke out over this issue! It is HIGH TIME that they learn to HABLA ENGLISH. PRONTO. NO MAS ESPANOL IN THE ESTADOS UNIDOS!

yes- I know of many mexicans -latinos who choose to talk only spanish etc and make no attempt to learn english - the children speak spanish at home and watch spanish tv and have spanish on the internet- all the other immigrant groups such as the russians learned english- probably because they werent catered to 24/7
you see- big business drools when they see the young latino population- 20 million breeders and consumers-
this really gags me that they would throw away american citizens just for their profit margin--
I must admit I notice on ads now that it is always young latino looking actors - I rarely see someone from a northren european group-
oregon pubic broadcasting had a special on tuesday night about financial aid in oregon and of course they had a anchor baby single mom with her latino mexican mother as the star of the program- like hello -
yep shes going to be an attorney on Pell Grants etc

There are some cities and portions of cities where Mexicans do not speak English. I get REALLY angry when I see a Mexican mother speaking to a child in Spanish. That is child abuse!

Our politicans caused this. America should not print ballots or DMV driver's tests or ANYTHING produced by local, state or federal government in any language except English. Force them to assimilate!
