One Town in Texas
Last night on Lou Dobbs - many probably saw this - he was talking with a senator/rep (not sure - sorry) from Texas about the town of Del Rio. Del Rio has decided to actually ENFORCE the federal laws - like the six months in jail for crossing illegally.
And, some members of Congress are trying to get this going ALL along the border from California to Texas.
What a novel idea!! DUH. Enforce the law - no way!!

Oh, this sounds great!
There are so many laws our local government(s) can enforce to make the situation uncomfortable for the illegals.
We don't have to sit back and wait for the federal government to do things.
Also, the laws being passed by various cities, counties, etc., are great and they are getting some attention - but just enforcing basic traffic laws, zoning laws, noise level, # of cars parked, shoplifting, etc., would go a very long way to making some inroads.
If enough of them get their cars impounded, they will move to greener pastures - which is in Mexico, I hope.
These illegals have had the red carpet laid out for them by businesses and governments (local to federal) for long enough.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Stop all the benefits and they won't come. Don't let fifty live in a house built for four and they won't come. Don't give them jobs and they won't come. Sorry I'm ranting. Guess I'm preaching to the choir here aren't I.

Yes, living many to a house is just one of the things a city could do - zoning laws. Many cities have lots of laws concerning occupancy, parking on streets or in yards, # of cars allowed, working on cars, noise level, visible trash, etc. There are any number of ways a city can make them understand in America - you live like Americans.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Del Rio is a border town (literally) and they claim they could not survive without illegals who do everything but run the police and the mayor's office.
