In fact, I have had several members of my local congregation deported during the last decade, yet I maintain that the problems of immigration must be solved with both compassion and wisdom. Both our hearts and our heads must be engaged in fixing this problem
Unfortunately, I'd have to lump the Catholic Church into the "greed group." They motivation for pushing amnesty is no more out of compassion than some of the Latino advocacy groups, business lobbies, labor Unions, agricultural lobbies, immigration lawyers, and the Mexican government (who should have no say, but obviously have) just to name a few."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**
