Local American Legion Post #73...sign posted in spanish...geeze...what don't they get....military members are required to read, write, and speak English...let's send them a message to remove it!!!

I spoke with the post commander Frank and he stated it was for spanish members and to try to control gang members attending these partys . I did give him my feelings as a Veteran and i suggested a removable sign that can go up and come down . He agreed .

I called and spoke to 'Cathy' I told her this is the American legion, not the Spanish Legion ! I was nice but to the point and said bye and hung up .

Who the H do the Spanish gangs thing they are bothering the American Legion?

The American Legion should not give in to their intimidation. Call the cops if the gangs bother them instead of put this sign in Spanish. Very sad.

I'm going to guess they rent out the hall for parties to anyone who pays.
