The upcoming CR vote in the House that defunds ObamaCare is a huge step forward. Finally, some in Congress are listening to the demands of the American people. It's Time To Change The Narrative.

The coming vote to defund ObamaCare already makes a huge concession to Barack Obama and Harry Reid. It funds the government - EXCEPT FOR OBAMACARE - at current outrageous and unsustainable levels.

And if our elected officials stand firm, Barack Obama and Harry Reid will have to explain to the American people why THEY are shutting down the government over ObamaCare... and that's exactly where the argument needs to go.

No Spinelessness Will Be Tolerated.

Conservative champion Brent Bozell perhaps said it best: "If Obamacare isn't defunded before the end of this month, we'll be stuck with it forever. And if that happens, it will be entirely the fault of the spineless, weak-kneed, hand-wringing 'RINO' cowards who refuse to stick to their principles when the rubber meets the road."

Bozell adds: "We need to tell these cowards that they're either with the American people, or they're with Barack Obama. We need to tell them that if they fund Obamacare, they'll own it lock, stock, and barrel. We need to tell them that if they throw their lot in with Barack Obama by funding this disaster, we will drive them out of office next year, no questions asked."

Angelo M. Codevilla, a professor emeritus of international relations at Boston University, sums up what has been transpiring for the past several years:

"The Republican Party owes its majority in the House of Representatives – and John Boehner his speakership thereof – to the American people's dislike of Obamacare. Because the US Constitution is explicit that the US government may expend only funds appropriated by Congress, Obamacare has existed strictly at the sufferance of the House leadership since that majority took office in January 2011" and "Boehner & Co. have worked in bipartisan coordination with the ruling class..."

And Codevilla calls the past attempts by self-proclaimed Republican leaders to keep ObamaCare alive-and-kicking, while attempting to convince the American people that they oppose ObamaCare, a "flagrant insult of that audience's intelligence."

The Dirty Little Secret Our Republican Leaders Aren't Telling You...

Let's be frank... let's be honest. The political elites really don't fear the media blaming Republicans for a temporary shutdown of the government... in Washington, that's called "messaging" or "advancing a narrative" and that narrative is being advanced to make you believe that the funding of ObamaCare is inevitable.
