U.S. Flags Disappear From Atop Philadelphia City Hall, City Official Says They Were Added To DNC Stage

PHILADELPHIA — The six flag poles on top of the Philadelphia City Hall are bare Thursday morning. One city official who asked not to be named told The Daily Caller that the U.S flags typically atop the City Hall flagpoles have been moved to the Democratic National Convention stage.

Lauren Hitt, communications director for the City of Philadelphia, told TheDC that the flags were taken down for “safety reasons.”

“We took them down for safety reasons. Every time we needed to lower them to half-staff, we needed to get a roofer down here who would then have to use 2 ladders to get to where the flags were. Given the thunderstorms, expected flash floods and extreme heat we’ve experienced this week, we didn’t feel it was safe,” she said.

Hitt has not yet responded to an inquiry from TheDC about where the flags previously flying currently are.

TheDC previously reported that flags were missing from the DNC stage Monday night and that they had been added to the stage on Tuesday morning.
Another city official has confirmed to TheDC that flags fly atop City Hall during work hours. TheDC visited City Hall during work hours and took the following pictures.

The Democratic National Convention press office has not responded to a Daily Caller press inquiry about whether the flags now on their stage are from the Philadelphia City Hall.

Oh my God, they've confiscated the flags over Philly City Hall to use at the DNC Convention because they didn't have time to order them AFTER Trump made a big deal about them not having any US Flags on their stage??!!!!

Oh this is the funniest one yet. The Dems are crazy!!

Their convention set looks like something out of a Global Oligarchy Movie. It reminds me of Communist stages. Weird!!

You got that right!

Find that hard to believe that they needed those flags - there are flag makers & stores in the city. It is another move to remove the flag, red,white & blue to reflect our loss of sovereignty and into globalism.

UNREAL: Look What Was Found Waiting Inside DNC’s “Prayer Room”

There have been plenty of surprises at the Democrat National Convention this week. Some of these have been forced upon the convention — like the Bernie Sanders delegate walkouts over the Democrat National Committee email leaks — but some haven’t.

Take, for instance, the convention prayer rooms. I was surprised that there was even a prayer room in Philadelphia, given the secular nature of the Democrats.

However, you may perhaps notice one thing about these “interfaith” prayer rooms — specifically, the signage. The Daily Caller certainly did.

Wow. For an “interfaith prayer room,” that seems to be a lot of minarets on the signage. I don’t see the cross or Star of David on there.


Well, maybe that’s just an oversight…
Let's take a look inside, shall we?


A sanitizing station and prayer rugs, likely facing Mecca. Hmm. Both of those seem awfully specific to, um, one religion.

All we’re saying is, if they want to put up the ruse that these were “interfaith” prayer rooms, couldn’t one of the delegates swiped a Gideon Bible from their hotel nightstand and put it in there for appearances’ sake?

This is the hypocrisy of the modern Democrat Party. They’re openly hostile to and mocking of Christianity. They’re grudgingly accepting of Judaism, provided it’s the secular, cultural kind. However, Islam they embrace fully.

What’s funny is that, of those three religions, it’s Islam that aligns least with their values. Which religion openly subjugates women? Which religion has openly punished those who don’t believe as they do, sometimes with death? Which religion has engaged in violence against the West? Throws homosexuals from rooftops?

Now, of course, the majority of Muslims don’t engage in that behavior, but the number is shockingly more than one might believe. A recent Pew Poll showed that 25 percent of American Muslims between the ages of 18 and 29 believed that suicide bombing was justified.

But it’s Christianity that’s the problem. Righty-o.
