here is another fun listing. I never knew that schools in Oaxaca (where all the violence was) have 'English Only' Policies... that would be nice to have here:
Our school (Maple Academy) is currently searching for qualified ESL teachers to work in beautiful Oaxaca. We are located 15 minutes from the downtown area. We have just expanded our facilities and have many exciting projects for 2007-2008. We are looking for the following characteristics in our teachers:
- A university diploma in Education and/or a Teaching Certificate
- Willing to work and stay in Oaxaca for minimum 6 months
- Be a native speaker
- Minimum 1 year experience in teaching English as a second language
- Young, dynamic, enthusiastic and create
- Able to use a variety of materials to enhance the four basic language skills (songs, readings, conversation games, student presentations, videos, etc.)
- Able to adhere to our "English Only policy" even at Beginner levels.
We are currently accepting many application forms.
Please send your resume and cover letter to Angela Pavey (Director) at contacto@hotmail.com or call us directly at 011-52-951-515-6918 to set up an interview with Mrs. Pavey.
Maple Academy prides itself in being one of the best schools in Oaxaca and an ideal place for teachers due to its friendly environment. Come join the Maple team!

In the list of requirements for teachers in Oaxaca, they forgot to list a bullet proof vest. That place is dangerous.
