    Question about Missing Child

I was doing a little research about child abductions in the United States and trying to get some numbers on how many children go missing that are never found again.

While I was looking into these matters, I cam across an alert from June for ANTHONY RYAN HUGHES

Here are the details at this link....

    http://www.missingkids.com/missingkids/ ... 7&seqNum=1

It says this was a non-family abduction and two men may be headed into San Bernardino. It does not give a description of the men although I know that San Bernardino is gang land central.

The thing I find curious about this report is that I cannot find any media coverage describing the abduction online.

I thought I would post this here in case some of you sleuths might be able to find something. I'm curious about the details of this abduction and curious as to why I can't find any media coverage. Was there any media coverage? The names in the article could be different or I might have just missed it.

Let me know if you can find anything.

Thanks for listening. I just checked again this morning and the alert is still up. Poor kid, I hope someone finds him and gets him back to his family.

Tried to get the pic on here, but photobucket is doing site maintenance. If you go to the site, his pic comes right up.
If I can, I'll add it later. Beautiful child!

I have checked the browsers I'm used to, added him to my Google page, and even, specially checked CA. sites, NOTHING. Also, checked SNOPES just in case. NOTHING.

That is every parents worst nightmare. I do feel for the parents of this little boy. I will pray that they get him back safe. The only thing is the odds which are never good and the more time that goes by the less the odds are that you will get him back alive. They do have that amber alert though which has been very successful in finding these children very quickly and if they are traveling cross country the odds are good that someone will see them with the child. Will watch the news for any info on this.

I'm just wondering if someone's child could be stolen like this and there be no media coverage.

Compared to lots of national media stories, I would think that a story like this should be on Fox.

Do you have a Lexis-Nexis account? That would be the best bet for finding any previous news item.

Nope, Ive been using Google, Google News, and some other search engines. Not a peep about this crime incident other than the alert on the missing children boards.

Well, Lexis-Nexis is the supreme search engine for the ritten word. I'm not sure of the current cost (I let my license lapse), but it would be a good tool for you to have at your fingertips.
