Unreal: Famous U.S. villain living sweet life
Unreal: Famous U.S. villain living sweet life

Obama has made this into a joke with his political correctness and not wanting to offend muslims.
Check it out:
Nearly four years after Islamist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan shouted “Allahu akbar!” (“God is great!”) and brutally murdered 13 people and injured 30 others at Fort Hood, Texas, Hasan now receives free helicopter rides from the local jail nearly every day, lives in a private room built to accommodate his medical needs, wears a beard against Army regulations, travels with his own security detail, has received numerous trial delays and collects a full salary of about $80,000 a year – all while many of his victims say they’ve been forgotten.
According to KXAS-TV, the NBC News affiliate in Dallas, the Army psychiatrist has been paid more than $278,000 since the Nov. 5, 2009, shooting because the military has said it cannot suspend his pay without a conviction.
Hasan, 42, is facing 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder at his trial begins Tuesday. The New York Times reported the Army has spent more than $5 million on Hasan’s case and secured the courthouse with massive sand-packed barriers to protect him from explosions.
The Army has paid for Hasan’s military defense lawyers, paralegals and experts for his defense. Hasan also enjoys a heavily guarded trailer near the courthouse. The court-martial is expected to last at least a month.

Remember Fort Hood...
Remember this statement Obama made in his book...
In “Audacity of Hope” he writes: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.

Alleged Ft Hood Shooter appears to be trying to get the death penalty
August 8th, 2013 by MOTHAX
Pretty sure this won't surprise or bother too many people:
On the first day Maj. Nidal Hasan went on trial in a fight for his life, he claimed responsibility for the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood. He posed no questions to most witnesses and rarely spoke. On one of the few times he did talk, it was to get on the record that the alleged murder weapon was his, even though no one had asked. The Lt. Col. is right of course. If he is there are counsel to the accused, per the requirements of the Constitution, he has certain obligations to the legal profession as well, and helping your client talk himself into death is not a good thing.
The Army psychiatrist sometimes took notes while acting as his own attorney, but he mostly looked forward impassively and rarely asked for help.
By Wednesday, the lawyers ordered to help him said they'd had enough — they couldn't watch him fulfill a death wish.
"It becomes clear his goal is to remove impediments or obstacles to the death penalty and is working toward a death penalty," his lead standby attorney, Lt. Col. Kris Poppe, told the judge. That strategy, he argued, "is repugnant to defense counsel and contrary to our professional obligations."
I'm not sure why I even bothered with "alleged" in the title here either, since Hasan doesn't even contest it:"I am the shooter."I think we've wasted about as much time and effort on this guy as we need to. Let's just give him what he wants, and not bother to publicise it or anything else. I know he wants to be a martyr, and my guess is he'll get his wish, but this farce isn't really helping anyone.
Maj. Nidal Hasan made that blunt declaration Tuesday at the outset of his court-martial in the 2009 massacre at Fort Hood. The Army psychiatrist is charged with killing 13 and wounding 32 at a processing center for soldiers heading into combat zones overseas.
"The evidence will clearly show that I am the shooter," Hasan told the panel of 13 senior officers who will decide his fate. "The evidence presented with this trial will show one side. The evidence will also show that I was on the wrong side. I then switched sides."
UPDATE: Twitchy has more info in a post:
Breaking: Judge rules Nidal Hasan can continue to represent himself despite lawyers’ objections; Update: Lawyer calls it ‘morally repugnant’

To take the survey go to the link below
The alleged Ft. Hood gunman is representing himself in court and appears to want the death penalty. What’s your take?
Choices
Good, give him what he wants, and what justice demands.
The justice system shouldn’t allow him to make a martyr of himself.
He deserves competent legal representation, and he can’t deliver it.
Every defendant should be able to choose their own representation, even if it is incompetent.
