    Today is 9/11 - 6 years after

Today on 9/11/07, are we really safer? A short subway ride away from the former site of the Twin Towers is Roosevelt Ave. in Queens.

Roosevelt Avenue is an open air market of sorts - for false documents. Green Cards, Passports, Birth Certificates, Drivers Licenses, Matriculas, etc....You name it, it's sold there (and it operates with relative immunity from law enforcement).

    So are we really safer?

Btw, I recently visited Roosevelt Ave. and I can tell you first hand that it didn't take me long to get prices for all sorts of different documents (even being white and not speaking spanish).

I thought it would be harder to get them to give me information but they don't care who they sell to and they don't ask questions.

Im a charter bus driver here in dallas for a company.
the days after 9-11 happened. there were companies from the northeast
who had flew their people to texas for work on monday.
I ended up in NYC the saturday after the attacks because i got a group that had to go to philly, newark, and la guardia.

When you leave Newark to get back onto the jersey turnpike, you come across the over pass looking RIGHT AT where the towers should be and i swear with 20 people on my bus that saturday nite, you could have heard a pin drop, it was that quiet

    Oh james, what an experience.

Sometimes seeing it makes it real.
