Your contact/reply ratio from your "elected" offic

Hmmmm... This is a question I have dwelled upon for a couple of years. When you fax, email, or call your "elected" officials, how often do you receive any form of reply to your questions regarding stopping illegal immigration?

I am in Virginia, where illegal immigrants roam freely. My small town is inundated with illegal aliens, and our deadbeat mayor couldn't care less. Anyhoo, here is my measured response ratio from my "elected" officials:

Congressman Eric Cantor (R): He is generally on our side. I get a letter or an email reply about 1 out of 6 faxes, calls, or emails I make to him.

Senator Jim Webb (D): 1 out of 50. "Mr. Maverick". I'd be inclined to put a "P" in front of the "r" in Maverick. Not too responsive, virtually ignores me.

Senator Mark Warner (D): 0 out of 50. He is the WORST elected official in Virginia history in the Senate. As former Governer of Virginia, he sucked up our "rainy day fund" left by Gilmore to make himself look good, and further raised state taxation by 1.5 billion. Look him up on wiki. He loves illegal aliens. Check out his numbersusa report card.

    What about your "elected" officials?

Well Larry, I live in CA which means I have Boxer and Feinstein as my Senators. As you can imagine, talking to these two ding-bats about illegal immigration is like talking to a brick wall. While they eventually get around to responding to my questions /concerns, their replies are always of the canned variety and are not worth the paper they are printed on!

I would be happy with no replies and a tough stance on illegal immigration as opposed to timely, but pro-illegal - open borders positions that I get from these two traitors in CA.

Feinstein n' Boxer ?!?!?!? I am surprised you maintain a modicum of sanity.

Cantor's "canned message" replies at least somwhat resemble a response to my concerns. Webb and Warner couldn't give a "Flying Fark" about what I think.

My heart goes out to your having to deal with those "ding-bats". I have not seen the term "ding-bat" used in a long while. I love it! hearkens back to the "Three Stooges"...

I have never heard a peep from either of my senators, even when I congratulate them on their vote. I always get a reply from my congressman, who addresses my issue, gives his view and have gotten a few from reps that are miles and counties and states away from me. And when there is an issue I email the pudding out of everyone.
The House seems to have more class about consituents, as the only senator I have ever received a reply from is Sen. Bernie Sanders of VT.

I get about 2 letters from Senator Collins and 1 from Senator Snowe a week.
I get NOTHING from my Congressman Chellie Pingree
I send Collins and Snowe about 10 emails or Faxes a week.
I call each at least 4 times a week.
I send Chellie about 6 Faxes a week..

Personally I don't want to hear their rhetoric and propaganda.

I love your sense of humor!

The upshot of the matter is that I am trying to get a grip on how our "elected" officials respond to their constituents.

From the limited responses, (hey, it seems to be VALID Gov't study, right?) they don't give a crap after they get the vote.

I am simply trying to determine what is most effective for our cause. H*ll, D.C. is 65 miles from my house.

We really need to represent en masse. I am ready to head up there on Labor Day, solo if need be.

What is a few hours of my time invested worth to my kid's future?

I feel ineffectual at the keyboard. I know, we are ALL busy paying taxes to support the "Delayed Pilgrims" (My Grandfather taught me that phrase). We need to be SEEN.

Where to go from here? Suggestions welcomed!

Emails get the issue into the light the quickest possible way.
That's what we need in order to gain momentum.

Some of us are RABID on spreading the news via emails and it is paying off just NOW! Many of us have temporarily lost friends and relatives over the issue of our country being stolen by a KENYAN and our corrupt Congress.

Why do you suppose people are just NOW getting upset at the Government? It's what they have been reading daily online from people like me, from blogs like this, from a couple of REAL Journalists.. It sure the hell isn't from most of TV or Print!
    (unless they watch FOX!)

I'm hoping that as NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN continue to tank, then they will have to start investigating this FRAUD some elected, (NOT ME!)

Journalists are now equated with lawyers, they are EVIL, IGNORANT, LIARS and Obama Loyalists. Soon they will be on the welfare role and in line for food.
    I personally can't wait......
