1 Million Truckers to Protest Obama by Shutting America Down for 3 Days in October

As someone whose family operates a trucking company, there was no surprise when the announcement to organize a one million trucker march in October appeared online at reagancoalition.com and on a Facebook page.

According to reagancoalition.com:

There is a Facebook page called "Truckers to Shutdown America." This is one of the messages they posted:

My fellow patriot this effort is to support the truckers in a major shut down of America ion [sic] a 3 day strike October 11th thru 13th. Obamacare will be in effect and most people will be ready to take action. No commerce on those days stock up on items that you will need. No banking no shopping no money transactions.

It does not matter if a million or 50 roll through DC in this effort. Congress will listen to We the People. Which is remove Obama from office for crimes of treason and misdemeanors. We want Congressional hearing on Benghazi and Seal Team 6. Louis Learner [sic] put in jail. No amnesty, remove all Muslims in our government that do not uphold the Constitution. Remove Eric Holder from office for crimes against the people and the Constitution. Last but not least is Fuel prices.

Another post on the site states:

Breaker 1 9 calling on all Trucker to shut America down for three days October 11-13. The American people are bleeding out with no relief in sight. It is time to change the NEWS. Let us show our elected officials that we are 100% fed up with corruption and the blatant disregard of the Constitution that they swore to defend.

Bob tail it hammer down to the bull$hit city with flags flying high.

One poster had a suggestion for truckers living in the "postage stamp size states:"

For you men and women already in the postage stamp sized states. Would not be much for you to "go over miles" especially with company directions and happen to show up in DC. OOPS!


So far, the page has gathered over 10,000 likes.





Supporting posts are popping up all over the page. One writes, "If the drivers refuse to move the trucks for that time frame, what are the big companies going to do??? Fire all the drivers? They have to stick together just like the Bikers did. We can do it!"

Another poster suggested that truckers also stop where they were and refuse to start up again until they were heard. "We need to overwhelm the system," the poster states.

According to one man, not all company drivers have internet access. He suggests that truckers be on the CB radio at truck stops passing the word.



It is estimated there are approximately 150,000 independent/ owner-operators across the country. If every one of those truckers descended on Washington DC, it would make more than a big statement. Adding patriotic company drivers would increase the message. By halting the transport of goods throughout the country and ceasing all money transactions and shopping for three days, it would signal a nationwide peaceful protest against the tyranny in Washington.




I, for one, intend to support the trucker community in their endeavors. That should come as no surprise from someone who was described as an "ignorant, stupid, brain dead right-wing woman" since the family trucking company will be participating.

A million bikers drove through Washington; several thousand trucks sure can. I think the truckers, along with a few patriotic Americans in cars, pickup trucks and SUVs, would be just the ticket to tell all of those who are intent on trashing our Constitution they are dealing with Americans – a sleeping giant if you will. It can be done America. We must stand together.

Mark your calendars folks for October 11th through October 13th and support the Million Trucker March. Make sure you have enough provisions to last approximately 30 days as it could take that long to restock stores with goods.

Sad to say but this may be the last answer to our problems, "peaceful protest" in massive numbers to simply show we will no longer accept big government intruding in our lives. The young folks should be out there doing same because they especially will suffer this massive debt we face.

Truckers in America are planning on ‘shutting down America’ for three days between October 11th and October 13th, 2013 in part to protest against the disastrous policies of Barack Obama. An email is being sent out warning Americans to stock up with 30 days supply of food and to be ready for the potential disruption of other chains of supplies, including fuel and medical supplies. 1 Million Truckers Protest Now Joined By Canadian Counterparts

In the recent article 1 Million Truckers to Protest Obama by Shutting America Down for 3 Days in October, I reported the Facebook page, Truckers to Shut Down America, was urging truckers to drive to DC October 11-13, 2013 and Americans to boycott in support of the truck drivers by ceasing all money transactions for those days. At the time of that article, the site had little over 10,000 likes. I wanted to provide an update.
Three days after I wrote about the march, the site has garnered over 67,000 likes and new developments have arisen that could only have happened due to the overwhelming support for our hard working truck driving friends.
Many Americans are supporting the 18 wheel drivers rolling to DC by pledging to boycott those three days by staying home and avoiding all money transactions for those days. But, individuals are not the only ones who have come out in support of this endeavor. A few members with Indiana Overpass for Obama's Impeachment are offering to pay for hotel rooms and a meal or two for the truckers.

A truck stop in Baton Rouge, LA is offering 50 gallons of free fuel to the first 20 truckers that come by their establishment with pictures showing their rig in DC during those three days.

There has even been a post from a man in Germany, written in German, supporting the million trucker march to DC.
Truck drivers are posting pictures of themselves with their trucks and indicating whether they will shut down and stay home or shut down for the drive to DC.
A reprint of the Freedom Outpost article appeared on the Daily Paul. The Blaze posted an article the day after Freedom Outpost and Fox News picked up that article and scrolled the information in their news ticker.
A new Facebook page popped up, Canadian Truckers to Shut Down, suggesting that Canadian counterparts show their support for their American trucking brothers and sisters by shutting down as well on the same days and either stay home or drive to Toronto. That site has over 1,700 likes.
Two radio shows are urging truck drivers to call in to discuss the important issues. The Guerilla Media Network is asking truck drivers only to identify the most important issues beside fuel prices that drivers would like to see changed by calling Pete Santilli. The site provides the number for the live radio show. For those reading that are truckers, the number is (82 738-6588. The Pete Santilli show is broadcast daily at 10 AM PST/ 12 PM CST/ 1 PM EST.
The other radio show is hosted by Glenn Beck. The posting had appeared about phoning Glenn Beck earlier today, but now it has become difficult to find. The site is receiving thousands of posts daily. Admins of the site are trying to respond to all posts and verify all information.
Goods travel throughout the US 7 days a week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. While goods are moved by rail, air and ship, it takes a truck to get those goods from seaports, train depots and air cargo ports to distribution centers then their final destination at a store near you. If you go to the store to buy something, more than likely a truck driver and his rig delivered it. The job they do provides the stored with the goods we purchase.
These men and women are willing to stake three days of their livelihood to protest the corruption in Washington. Enough notice has been given for individuals to stock up on items for those three days and extra due to the time it will take for goods to reach their destination after the boycott. Medication is usually dispensed for 30 day intervals so make sure you get your refills prior to October 11. To support the truck drivers and join in, individuals can cease all money transactions for those three days.


I say We the People can make a difference! Keep passing the word America. Our family trucking company is rolling to DC. Hopefully, we see some of you on the side of the road cheering us on!

Truckers Shutting Down DC To Protest The Federal Government And Its “Bulls**t”

A group of truckers plans to shut down DC to protest the government and its “bulls**t.” The rally, happening on October 11 for three days, will question the Obama administration’s “corruption against the Constitution.”
The truckers were initially gathering attention using social media, primarily Facebook.
But now the group’s Facebook page, “Truckers to Shut Down America,” has been pulled off the web. The page’s admins were banned for using “God Bless America.”
The group’s Facebook page used to say, “The American people are sick and tired of the corruption that is destroying America! We therefore declare a GENERAL STRIKE on the weekend of October 11-13, 2013! Truck drivers will not haul freight! Americans can strike in solidarity with truck drivers!”
As a result of being banned from Facebook, the truckers started their own website called RideForTheConstitution.org to promote the event.
Freedom Outpost pointed out that Facebook allows pages promoting jihad, but “will pull pages like Truckers to Shut Down America and Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children for promoting conservative and/or Christian beliefs. That makes sense when the owners and admins of Facebook are in cahoots with government and in bed with big money men.
With the social networking page nowhere to be found, it is now up to the old-fashioned, hit the pavement, door to door grassroots effort.”
