Thread: Amnesty might come back in the House of Reps

Telemundo reported today that Nancy Pelosi is talking with Hispanic House Democrats in order to have hearings about immigration. The Gutierrez-Flake STRIVE act would be the bill discussed in the hearings, according to Telemundo. Nancy Pelosi said to the reporter " It is unacceptable that a comprehensive bill was not passed in the Senate". Pelosi also said that she will do everything possible to have a comprehensive immigration bill in the House.

It may be lip service by Pelosi, but just in case lets prepare for the
worst.

This will keep coming back and back and back until they get something.

They are frantic because locals are getting into the act and if they don't do something to nullify the local laws regarding immigration, something might get done.

Also, they realize that the American people are upset - really upset.

I have read the Strive Act and it's just as bad as S1639. It gives amnesty to all the illegals here, too. We need to give all the House members a little warning. Think I'll start on that tomorrow.

Yes, they might even be feeling that they're, um, IRRELEVANT? especially since they cannot or will not pass or enforce laws that coincide with the Will of the People.

This would be a big mistake for House Members since they are all up for re-election, what Nancy wants and Nancy gets are two different things. Then again she may get it to the floor of the House, but getting it passed will be tough. But a good warning never hurts as we have so many traitors in the congress,let us not forget come 2008, we need the traitors out because who knows what we will end up with for president, Hillary and Obama are scary!!

I agree, SOSAD, it seems like they need to be reminded all the time that we are awake!!!!

Let them try to bring back any type of amnesty bill, it won't pass. We squashed the amnesty bill twice as well as winning in Waukeegan IL.
