Thread: Article V of the Constitution

This action by the Goverment of the United States is nothing more than a MASSIVE BULK TAX!!!
It seems to me they were pressed for time and they needed this money to HOLD OFF Creditors. It was written into The Constitution of The United States by BRILLIANT MINDS (there are none in DC anymore), Article V states that the PEOPLE (yes, taxpayers, voters,real people) have the RIGHT... A RIGHT to hold a Convention, to REPLACE its INEPT Goverment Officials. I say this because I honestly believe OUR COUNTRY has been hijacked.
It is NO LONGER a Goverment Of the people, By the people, FOR the people. Our so called Elected Represenatives ARE NOT doing the will OF THE PEOPLE! This Bailout (and other things) was the LAST STRAW for me and my family. The Boston Tea Party was NOTHING compared to what our Goverment is doing now. The people have a right to determine THIER DESTINY! And more so THIER CHILDRENS!
I am writting my State Represenative, and asking him to put something together to bring it up for a vote. Article V states it takes two thirds of the states to Invoke a Convention. I pray for my children, and I get MAD AS HELL when I think of the worthless individuals in Washington DC, they HONESTLY DONT CARE ABOUT MY KIDS... Its up to me.
Please, write your state rep., tell him/her that common sense has departed DC & left the door open. The phrase "Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely" has never made more sense to me than right now.

I'm All for it. It's not just the bailout but that ,failure to secure our borders,protect the sovreinty of our nation,kissing up to the U.N.,special interest groups and totally ignoring the american people.
