I OPPOSE illegals from coming – NEUTRAL on the ones here

I don't believe that I've ever mentioned that here or in any other discussion with cassie, have I? If memory serves, we've discussed mostly the U.S. Constitution and it's value and importance.

FYI: these boards are for everyone and the disruptions are getting a little overboard now. What's important is for everyone to feel comfortable using them productively although it's more beneficial to simply ignore whatever isn't of interest to us on an individual basis.

It would be nice and less disruptive if a fellow could post his substantiated and sourced and valid arguments as a rebuttal to unsubstantiated, unsourced, untrue claims without being called a troll, particularly when it was the troll-caller who'd raised the topic in the first place and got it all wrong, even to the point of fabricated sources.

Why isn't the erroneous and repetitious dubbing of a poster a "troll" a personal attack? Particularly when the dubbee has clearly posted substantiated arguments in response to fabricated ones first posed by the dubber?

I haven't hardly considered the issue of illegal immigration until lately, as it just isn't much of an issue where I live, except for a recent bust of a packing plant about 60 miles away.

The reason I came here was to learn something about the issue. I had the extreme misfortune, however, of encountering Ghost's fabricated mishmash on certain legal issues, which I do happen to know a lot about, which is a happy convenience for me since it's how I make my living as well.

Debunking Ghost's myths has taken up way too much of my time, when all I'd really wanted was to do some quiet reading. But his posts were so So SO outrageous that I could not in good conscience not try to set the record straight.

My intent is to now devote my time on this site in equal parts to ignoring Ghost's misinformation and informing myself on this immigration issue.

At present, I'm truly tabula rasa on the immigration issue, beyond the notion that something must be done, but I detest half-cocked spewing, so when I think I have an informed opinion, Cassie, I'll surely post it. Thanks for your question.

I came here because someone recommended this site if I wanted to learn on this issue. She told the posters here are well informed and level headed on the issue. I live in California and we're on the front line of the invasion, and it's really terrible here. What state you live, Bama ?? Alabama ?? I'm not talking to Ghost anymore, not worth it. The best is to keep the peace on this board and when time goes by, he will see I'm not a troll.
