    New Letter from Sen. Feinstein

    Thank you for writing to me concerning the use of state and
    local law enforcement to enforce federal immigration laws. I
    welcome the opportunity to respond.

    As you know, there are currently a number of legislative
    measures that address this issue in both chambers of Congress. In
    the Senate, Senator Jeff Sessions has introduced the "Homeland
    Security Enhancement Act" (S. 1362), which would allow state
    and local law enforcement officers to apprehend, arrest, and detain
    aliens illegally present in the United States. At this time I am still
    considering the comments and opinions of constituents like you, as
    well as federal and state law enforcement officials. I will keep
    your thoughts in mind as this legislation moves forward.

    keep me informed on issues of importance to you. If you have any

    Does this lady EVER commit to ANYTHING in a printed letter, does she EVER take a STAND on serious issues, or is she just a waffler?
