48 hours is up, anybody hear back from JC Penny?
Now that our 48 hours that they promised to get back to us in is up, am I the only one they have chosen to ignore?

I got a response from them based on the email I sent last week. They stated that 'we made a mistake on our sign and took it down. They meant to say they were looking for bi-lingual customer service reps.'
I appreciated they admit fault and corrected it but unfortunately, along with the rest of the blind and liberal country, they cater to illegals and the hispanic sector.

I'm sorry, but that was NOT a mistake. The person who put it up there new exactly what they were putting up there. The person who told the grunt worker to put it up there new what was going on. Maybe the corporate offices didn't know and weren't happy when they started losing customers over it, but on some level it was done intentionally.

JC Penny's is doing the same thing Sears has been doing for years.
I went to Jc Penny's the other day and went up to a clerk in the store who was an woman in her 50's. I asked her a question and she could not answer, because she could not speak English.
I found what I was looking for about 5 minutes later and when I was leaving the store the glass entry doors had Spanish all over the doors.

I get really LOUD when I go into a store in the US and the employees do not speak English! I will raise my voice and demand to know if anyone in this store speaks English!
If it hurts their feelings, tough noogies, suck it up! I did not legally emigrate to this country, spend years learning the language without any ESL help for nothing!
Being bilingual is a nice thing to have when you work somewhere, but first you MUST know at the very least to speak understandable ENGLISH!

Some thirty years ago I lived in a small border town in Texas 50%Angelo50% Hispanic almost all spoke English in the stores and those who came from Mexico were anxious to learn English now that same town is 99% Hispanic and only spanish is spoken in stores and they deeply resent anyone coming in speaking english. That attitude is moving north and to all parts of our country it is in fact hurting all not just whites on this issue and in the end will cause our country to fragment. Oh yes and to an english only person getting a job in that little town, no way only spanish or bilingual need apply.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

They just called me. Wanted to send me a leisure card. I interrupted the guy, told him I didn't want their dang leisure card and I was thinking very seriously of cutting up my JC Penny's card that I've had for 40 years and sending to them because JC Penny's has a sign out saying they wanted to hire Spanish-speaking only. Then I hung up in his ear.
