Thread: Revised list of concerns about illegal immigration

I have revised the list we are building that should contain a very brief description of all of the different reasons Americans are upset about illegal immigration.

Please make any final suggestions soon as we want our list to be as comprehensive as possible. Please make sure your suggestions are not already on the list or part of an existing description.

Animal abuse. I say this because in the gang infested areas, they get pit bulls and other animals. They don't take care of them or the animal becomes a threat to neighbors. Cock fights? there are rooster fights all the time. Anyway I hope this hasn't been mentioned.

Also don't forget the strain on our imported and homegrown national resources such as fuel. Visa overstays that disappear into the population. Education of children according to beliefs in the old country in charter schools funded by tax dollars, while public schools lose money. Less attempted assimilation into this society within ethnic communities. Increased illiteracy as a percentage of the total US population. Increased drop outs from schools. Increased black market activities for goods. Increased prices for products we normally consume since demand starts to outstrip supply. Religious groups believing they are above sovereign American laws, aiding and abetting illegals, while enjoying tax-exempt status.
At a gas station today, there was a police car parked while the cop was inside buying a candy bar. An apparently Hispanic woman with two preteens, grabbed the kids and held them close. As the three walked to the shopping center, all eyes were on that police car. I have no idea what she was saying to the kids. Amazing.

While the list is quite comprehensive , I would add just the few things as follows:
1. Illegals manipulating Hispanics that came to our country legally to help further their cause. Many Hispanics feel conflicted between loyalty for our country and loyalty to the people they think represents their culture. Also, the Hispanics that don't support the illegals are lumped into the other goup, so they are not welcome in communities that can openly express their objection to illegals on our soil.

2. Also the illegals use and perpetuate the notion and action of "racism" for Americans not wanting them in our country, while they themselves are the ugly racists!

3. I am angered at their arrogance, illegals seem to think we own them welfare, education, and other goodies, when the only thing they have earned is a one way ticket back to their country of origin.

Overall impact: Mexicanization of America, and turning us into a Third world country

offensive; for trying to compare the illegals plight to african americans struggles for civil rights.

Privacy Rights given to undocumented immigrants - media and criminal records doesn't give the illegal status of immigrants.
